heres a sneak peak of what the app is going to have when it first comes out (and a few things to look for in updates itll have *wire gauge chart *wiring diagrams for series, paralel, series parrralel, dvc series and dvc pararalell a few diffrent system layouts/ projects from simple to insane *possable* sound sweep from 20-20000hz if i can find one *calculation info (might be able to just do input calculations) for total watts ohm loads amp draw * a section for notes "my notes" * a chart to show what size speakers respond to what frequencies if you want anything else in it let me know. btw smd members* will be geting the app the app free before its realeased to the rest of the android community at a price of $1.99 *some restrictions apply. must be active member. once its released send me a pm and ill send you the download link pin this up please!

not really. im familiar with bisic sql for android but idk if i can build that complex of an app for android with it if not ill just learn java haha

i was looking through the android market for an app that would maybe help with system design and all those little things and also have reffrence matterial in the palm of your hand and there is none so im thinking about making an app for android and maybe apple phones to help with car audio design to do things like calulate max and min box size cut shees amp draw ect... and was wondering if anyone has any other ideas on what they would want to see or name ideas. or if anyone would want to work with me on this one. anything you think someone would need to help with their build. thanks guys.

you probably just had some lemmons caz my friends been runnin a bunch of the ds65s for years now at their recomended watts just fine and theyre nice

and im doing the 8s to run 50hz-500hz and the 15's 25hz-50hz

they really dont but idk most of my moneys going to the amps and i dont mind spending more i wanna get it good the first time and kickers what i wanna use and idealy id use three 15 but i dont have enough room for 3. as much as like to use all my space for a huge system i have to still be able to load up 8 ppl and a bunch of gear and go party on the beach or in the woods. plus i font wanna add 500lbs of stuff cause i still wheel with the hoe to.

hey guys. im building a new system in my tahoe and im on a budget i was wondering if you guys had any ideas heres what i know. im useing kicker down to the wire (literally ) and i know im gonna get two kicker comp 15s and a dx500.1 for them, and im also gettinf two comp 8's and i need an amp to use for them im also gonna use kicker ds65's and ds45's thats where i want you guys to put your inputs in i wanna know what you guys think i should do with them. how many of what. where i should put them what amps i should use. im open to anything caz im really stuck on what to do with the mids and highs. thanks in advance for the help guys.

well lets see... ive always liked cars ever since i was little i loved working on the car with my dad. and he had two ten inch subs in his car and i thought he had the best system in the world i loved just riding in the car playing rap so that it would bump and it was amazing. i had always wanted to put a good system in my car when i grew up. then i kinda faded out of it and a few weeks ago i got a demo in a target parking lot and got back into it then on youtube i discovered the man that truely inspired me steve meade honostly i spent a whole sunday watching the build of his tahoe and every video on his channel and i came here. then me and my friends started our own lil buisness building car audio systems and here i am today lovvin it and planing on doin it for as long as i can

man no wonder you have such a large page of adds up top. id be glad to pay for gold if i had the money :/ i gotta get some work no one seems to want a good sound system right now :/ that and i doubt anyone trust a 15 year old to install it haha. man i gotta admit i look up to you alot and i love the stuff you build. keep up the good work man!

diffrent boxes i just didnt wanna have to buy a second amp but i guess i will lol.

im getting 2 8 inch kicker comp subs and 2 15 inch kicker comp subs and a kicker DX1000.1 i need to know how to get them wired to 4 ohms i feel realy dumb asking but i just brainfarted and i cant remember witch type of wiring gets me there

Well, we now know what you think of the gear at least.... lol yea. im just getting this kit thing from outragous audio and then another amp and some really cheap mids. and highs. just lookin for sumtin to keep me going for a while. its like 800 bucks toatle for two 15's a box all three amps all 8 mids and all 12 tweets. plus wire lol its all crap but its better then nothing

ok kool thats what i was hoping im still gonna do the big 3 just caz it would help and i am getting a better battery i just wanted to make sure that was enough.

i dont think its actually 5000 watts lol i just added up the amps wattage. and called it good. prolly did that wrong. and thanks i found the big three link pretty helpfull.

im just running to cheap ass 15's 8 cheap ass mids and 8 cheap ass mids and the subs are runnin off a cheap ass quantum 1500 watt amp. and the mids are goin of a cheap ass 1000 watt from quantum.

i got another question since u mention the big three. every where i look no one explains what it actually is tho.
