Just got a new HID Kit from Sharp hid and was going good until i turned one side on and it started smoking and getting hot so hot that i burnt my hand from the actual bulb. What can be the problem maybe? Came with a battery harness that i didn't used i don't know that could be it. Also the kit is a 55 watt and installing this on a 2000 Honda Accord. Thanks

Ok Thanks Bro -
Well i installed my Hids about a week ago and for some reason they are not bright and not close to the ones i see in pictures. Is it possible i need a bigger ballast maybe a 55watt to get a better outcome. I got the 6000k kit from this site if anyone is wondering. Thanks http://www.hidxenonheadlights.com/

Well i got everything hooked up but have a new problem now. The Hid is way to high and not pointing towards the ground how do i fix that. I'm using a h1 bulb in this and it's doesn't fit in the hole unless i turn it side ways. Can anyone help me with this. I know some people have hids in these's headlights and they worked great.

Well i got my Projector lights in and thought it be easy to connect a HID to it but i guess not since i'm new to this. I got the bulb in but have no idea how to wire the hid wiring to the headlights. Do i connect the bottom harness to the bottom wiring of the headlights and the red and black to the red and black inside the projector? As you can see in the picture i have the 2 wires(red and black) that needs to be connect to something.

Pioneer AVH-P3300BT Bypass Wiring
Diamond500 replied to Diamond500's topic in Head Units-Processors and Eq's
Even though it's cheap to by a relay couldn't i just ground the wire? If not then i will just buy one then. -
I got this headunit on the way which should be here tomorrow and was wondering do i just ground the green wire and i wouldn't need to use a bypass? Since i heard this works. http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/Car/DVD-Receivers/AVH-P3300BT

Thanks for the help guys. Will finish the speakers tomorrow, already got one side of the tweeter done tonight.
-
Got it understand that now. Thanks. One last thing do i glue on the tweeter trim ring since it won't snap in unless i'm doing something wrong.

I have spade connectors put won't fit i might have to open them a bit more. Wouldn't that mean i have to put 2 wires in the connector the one coming out of the door then 1 from the crossover to the speaker.
-
No amp straight to the headunit. Do i have to solider the wire to the speakers then?

Just got my Rockford Fosgate T1s in today and i'm a complete noob since this is my first time installing mids and crossovers and what not. I took out my old stocks speakers and just have this wiring left in the door. What do i do cut it off and connect it to the crossover. I'm lost on this. Any help would be great. Thanks

Well i got some mids and highs on the way and today i went to take out my stock speakers and found a big mess. When i took off the door panels there was tons of glue in the inside that is still wet not even dry. This has to be over 7 years old and super sticky, is there anything good out there that can take all this off. Thanks

Kinetik battery won't fit
Diamond500 replied to Diamond500's topic in Electrical-battery- Alternators- Wiring
This is my stock battery i had when i removed that battery and put the new one in, the Kinetik one didn't fit good like this one was to low and the terminals were under the plastic housing not above plus the rods not screwing far enough to hold it in. So i was thinking a HC-1400 would work better.
