  1. Yeah I have shot one before. From everything I have read, you get the best of both worlds with the .40 .... the power of a .45 round with the speed of the 9mm . After reading through the manual and doing the first "field strip" per the instruction manual, cleaning this thing will be quick and simple.... I am thoroughly impressed with it. My only hang up is I am left handed, and the mag release is designed for a right handed shooter, giving a right handed the ability to drop magazines out with their thumb. I have to do a little finger curl with my left pointer finger to change them out. The likely hood of me needing a second 15 round magazine in a situation is pretty slim, but I will keep practicing with it to refine the technique a bit more.

All in all a fantasticly built weapon , I can not wait to pull the trigger and give it test run.

  2. Looks really sweet sitting in there and the regulator showing.... lets ya know , in one of a thousand ways, that this project was thought out extensively and no detail was missed....

and guys , set you forum view up to 40 posts per page, and you wont miss near as much from day to day on any thread....

  3. so, after many years of looking waiting and wanting, I decided to just say fuck it and get what I wanted. I went and looked friday, and the local shop had 2 of this model in all black, for $ 479.00 each.... I waited.... and they sold both of them yesterday. So I ended up paying $ 489.00 for it in olive drab and black. I don't know why they charge ten bucks more for the O.D. green, but I kinda like it after looking at it for a bit. I went with the model 22 because it has a slightly longer barrel and more shot capacity. Hopefully I will get to go shoot it a few times tomorrow. I bought this purely for home defense, not for concealment, which is why I wanted the longer barrel. The next best price I could find for the model in all black anywhere in savannah was $ 509.00 .... I don't know if it is true or not, but three different shops all said Glock is about 200,000 units behind demand for their weapons right now, so I didn't wanna put it off any longer.

  5. Well, the absinthe was literally fire water when drinking it straight. I could not do another shot . Mixed with sugar water though ( per the label ) , it wasnt that bad. Different, but we probably wont buy another bottle of this. My buddy at the store told us to try it with orange juice, or red bull.... so we will try a little experimenting another night this week.

But the Patron... AHHHH .... its my new favorite.

  6. Wow... I know its a monday night... but that is just how it is for us. friday and saturday night have no more significance than any other night. The absinthe is kinda Harsh. It says on the bottle to mix it with sugar and water, does make it taste a little better. the Patron... I like the PATRON.... I am about 6 shots in, so thank god for spell check... GREEEEAAATTTT BBBUUUUZZZZZZZZZZ....... :acute:

  7. So me and the girl was sitting at dinner talking and we got on the subject of drinking. I have a friend/co-worker who owns a liquor store down the road from me, so we stopped by. I dont usually drink tequila, and both of us have never had patron or absinthe. We learned a little about it, aside from what we heard. It ( absinthe ) is apparantly legal in 22 states now, georgia being one of them. I shall check in later tonight and let ya know how its going...

Oh, and forgive me for flaunting a few material labels in the pic. couldnt resist. :)

  8. My mother was just literally given a 2000 Accord, v-6. Car appears to be in great shape from what my brother and parents tell me. I have not seen it yet. It has 77,000 miles on it. There was no owners manual with the car. I had a 2001 civic a few years ago, but it got traded in before I had to worry with any of this, and I can't recall the last time I even looked under the hood of a honda, especially with concern for maintenance or repair purposes.... My questions are these :

On the V-6, when do we need to start worrying about timing belt replacement?

How about CV joints? they are not clicking yet, but how many miles can we expect out of them on a the V-6?

Transmission service? should we go ahead do it , I have no idea what the fluid looks like, but my FJ doesnt even have a dipstick for the tranny, is the accord the same way?

What other problems do we need to keep an eye out for? I know it is a Honda, so problems are few and far between... but still, Dad and I figure since it was free, we should probably go ahead and address any issues before they happen...

And no, no stereo will be installed. my mother is the last person on earth to be concerned , so long as it plays music at a whisper, she is happy.

    thanks .

  9. So would you say this is because of the power the amps produce, or from the RF360 s , or just because of the choice in speakers. I know the obvious answer is the amps, but if you take them out of the equation, would it be possible to get that kind of volume and clarity out of several smaller amps running the same speaker setup, minus the subs of course. And if so, what would it take to power it? I am just curious because, while I would never attempt to install a door set like that , I wonder what it is that is helping to make just so over the top clear, yet insanely loud. And I know you have the channels split up with distro blocks, but what kinda wattage do you think you have being set to each comp set ? And have you heard anything else out of RF as to when the T15K technology will be put into smaller amp , that are less than 25 grand? By the way, the high quality vid really helps to let you hear the clarity( aside from the camera you used and the speakers in my comp... you can tell a difference between the two videos.

    Thanks Man.

Truly amazing work. Certainly your masterpiece thus far.
