  1. I just browsed the whole thread, and there are some amazing pets on here. I live in a townhouse so, no big dog for me. Although I would love a pit. One of my good friends had one and he was the best dog I have ever encountered. The friendliest and gentlest Pit bull, let alone dog in general. Damn thing loved cheetos though :) . My buds mom kinda ended up taking the dog as her own and he was and still is a huge baby. Strong and solid, but literally a teddy bear. AND his ears aint cut.

My girl wants a miniature dachshund. ( sigh ) ....whatever. I have always wanted a siberian husky or a red malamute.

  2. Dude trust me, find a neiman marcus or a sac's and try a pair on. Hell just check out the website www.truereligionbrandjeans.com and you will see what I mean. They fit damn good. except they all come in a 34" inseam, but that is common for true runway ( designer ) jeans. I have a few of the " billy badass super "T" " and a pair of Bobby, ah hell here is some pics of a few on my myspace page....

  3. you are not the only one. I have never , ever sold anything on ebay before last sunday. I put up a collection of "trail of the painted ponies" that my family and ex-girlfriend bought me over the years. I bought one because I thought it looked cool and it reminded me of visiting pow-wows years ago with the order of the arrow. They thought that meant that I wanted them all. For the past two years they were in my dining room in a little curio cabinet collecting dust. I have 22 of them, and 16 have sold for a little over $900.00 bucks already, with about 5 hrs. to go. I see a new sundown 4ch amp and the JL 6.5 " XR components being ordered tomorrow. If it gets any higher I and gonna get another bulk pack of damplifier pro from second skin, which will take me up over the 300 sq. ft. mark. Ebay rocks.!!!!

  4. ALOT of true religion jeans, I have five pair, my girl has 7-8 pair, a bunch of Express clothes, some Hollister and american eagle. I have a bunch threadless.com t-shirts ( great site BTW ) and shoes out the wazoo!!! Not to mention the girl's collection of Louis Vuitton bags and wallets. My girl is working toward a masters degree in Fashion Design, so she thinks we have to dress the part. I almost died when I bought my first pair of 300.00 dollar jeans, but I wouldn't trade them for anything now.

  5. Thats what I am thinking as well. So for now I wait. Maybe I'll post up some pics of my stock one so you guys can see.

this is the front, alternator is on the drivers side

this is looking down over the drivers side over the fender, the battery is on this side too.

there is a good amount of space there, surely another alternator could fit there

  6. So I emailed irragi, to his first adress and nothing, but I am not complaining , cause I realized he has a different email on ebay than the one I found on here, so I will give him a week or two. However, Excessive amperage ( nate ) told me that the numbers on my alternator indicate that I have a "hairpin" style alternator and it can't be reworked. He said maybe he could do a conversion and asked for some pics, so I sent them and no word yet. But again I am patient. Here is the thing, I don't want a rewound alt, but a bigger alternator. I may have it all wrong and a rewound maybe the thing I am supposed to have. I don't know. What I do know is I want a bigger alternator and it looks like a dead end. The FJ cruiser has the same motor as a tacoma and a four runner, so there has to be some kinda option for me. If I can't get more power production under the hood , then I can't go to 15" BTL s and a couple of sundown 3000 s like I want to. And that sucks. I am kinda bummed and ranting - but what the hell.? :( I drive a Toyota, it isn't like it is some rare or unusual brand, or vehicle. Well the FJ is a bit unusual , but it is built on a 4runner frame , and as I said it has the same V6 as the tacoma. There has to be a way to get more juice under the hood.

I kinda hijacked another thread with this and I felt I needed to offer a better explanation , and maybe some one can chime in or offer up a source.

  7. If you insist on liquid nails over tite bond then alright do it. Tight bond works better. Liquid nails is for stuff like sub flooring and heavy duty use that requires a moisture proof glue. A MDF box does not. Also if you use silicone, which you wont have to if you use tite bond, - LET THE STUFF DRY COMPLETELY !!!! Silicone has chemicals in it that gives off fumes that can cause harm to sub woofers, and I would imagine that liquid nails does too. DO NOT put your woofer into your box until the silicone and or liquid nails is completely dry !!!!!

With tite bond all of this will be a complete non-issue :)

  8. ...ya'll dont see the R&D part of any of this you just see me whipping it out - no one feels my HOURS of bathroom R&D, and all the stress i feel while trying to pull this off.....and in front of half the world.

I wanna see this build no matter how how slow it is, but I dont wanna see you whip anything out in the bathroom , much less feel it, save that for the wife !!!!!!!! :):):):):)

  9. Just thought id give a lil update.

I was able to get tracking info last friday evening at work.

Alt and regulator arrived this morning.

Im a happy camper now

took long enough. I sent dom a email about three days ago for a qoute on a alternator for me. I will post up how long it takes him to respond. I think at this point, I might be going with E.A. though.

  10. im very excited, ill show my dad tommorro see what he says, i dont get it...im paying for the truck, but he still has final say what i can do audio wise...WTF!!

Just buy it all and stash it at meade's house and one day just come home with it in there and say nothing about it. Later on your pops will borrow your truck and when he gets done he will ask where it all came from and just say " ah I did that months ago, we talked it over remember" and just act like its nothing . he will get over it. Dads always do. He modded his cars when he was your age so he gets it - rather he admits it or not....

  11. I bet that is one very messy job. No cover for the brick patio underneath your feet ? I am sure that fiberglass resin is a permanent fixture once it dries....

But hey, I changed the carport at my parents house from concrete color to blue when I painted my samurai back in high school. I ended up painting the concrete gray per dad's very upset and angry instructions :( hehehehe....:)

Looking good though. Love seeing this truck come to life.
