Here is my biggest dilema...the whole two 12 or one 15... I know common sense says two twelve's getting 1200 rms will hit harder then one 15 getting 600...but if the twelve's are tuned at 30hz will they beat the 15 in the lows???

Ok I apologize for starting a vs thread I didn't know that wasn't allowed. So let me re word a few things. Im working with 300$ give or take...and im looking for a very aggressive low that is also loud. I want a low that people feel in their chest and it shakes everything around me. Im not sure which brand to go with..but one guy said if I want sol go with sundown and if I want low do with skar audio. So can anyone help me with pros or cons...or any suggestions from personal experience. Any help will be greatly appreciated

Ok so im gonna be putting a new set up in my 05 GMC 2500...and im having hell deciding what to do. Im going to be doing the big 3 real soon with 1/0 awg...and same size wire running to my mtx ta810001...it pushes 1500 rms at 1 ohm.. Supposedly. Now I just got to figure out sub wise what I want to do. I have one fi x 12 right now and it's definitely not enough. What im going for is a very aggressive low that shakes everything but I also want it to be loud... The biggest I want to go is 1 15. I can spend about 300$ for new sub(s)... Skar audio doesn't look as well built as sundown but YouTube videos prove that skar can hit very hard. So if anyone has any suggestions to help me out I would greatly appreciate it even if it has to do with other brands.

No i did not kno that!.... Thats so sick lol. Only thing is my 6.0 is fixin to roll 140000... So idk if it would be a good idea to tear into it that far with that kinda mileage

I got an 05 6.0. Im plannin on doin somethin intake wise...exhaust....and gettin the ecu retuned. Idk where to look for an aftetmarket throttle body that aint five or six hundred bucks. Ive never really understood the point of tb spacers so i wanted to ask before i spend 60 to 100 dollars on a faint whistle lol

Do throttle body spacers really help increase performance or are the pointless??

One thing ima have done is i found a guy that does factory ecu retuning and he said on premium id gain 40 to 50hp... My quextion is can i get that done and still put a performance chip in it?? i want it to.be a beast lol

Dang. Im not too worried about the budget part. I mean i wannt try to stay 3 to 400 range at the most. I love pioneer because of all the features in the eq so im willin to.pay for pioneer.

Nvm! I redesigned it...again... And got tuning down to 33hz... Port will wrap three times then exit same,way as subs on opposite side of the box..outer dimensions are 48in wide by 33in tall by 16.5 deep

I got it figured out.... Its gonna be my first tline build so ima just play with it a lil bit... The design i got will tune it to basically 45hz..but my port area will match perfect so i guess we will see wat happens!!!

Ok so designing a tline for my ext. Cab dak is pretty tough...so i was wondering to help it fit better could i lower tge port area from we wil say 150 to 140...and tune the box from 35hz down to 30hz....wat would the effect be..
