  1. Hey guys ~ Havent been on here much, computer has been broken for months. But here is an enclosure for a couple sundown sa-12's custom fitted in a BMW. I have a couple vids on my facebook page (DL Designz). They sound incredible
  2. I like the idea. I have always been impressed with 8's and how they perform. I have personally experimented alot with 8's and i have grown to really like them. Dustin
  3. Thanks man. Basically, the port in there now is tuned to 30hz and when you remove the bolts and such, there is another port that fits inside (you can see the other port in the background of the last pic) and the port is tuned to 48hz I believe. Dustin
  4. My Bad guys! COMPLETELY forgot that I started a built log for this enclosure... I figured I would post up the finished pictures so you guys got to see the final product! Customer was extremely satisfied PM me if you guys need anything done! and let me know what you think! Dustin DL Designz
  5. Used to... But cant find the time anymore. RAM has been my lead designer for the last ~6 months now. So every build I do, RAM designs it. Dustin Just wondered. Design is awesome, from the pictures it looks like it's coming out quite nicely. No problem, thanks!

  7. Here is another enclosure I started today for a customer on the forum. Box is for 4 SA-8's, will have interchangeable ports (2x - 35hz, 60hz) and a bedliner finish with red baffle/ports. Should be a good one! Lots more to come! Let me know what you think Dustin
  8. Thanks guys. Dowels might be unneeded, but it doesn't hurt. Only helps. Not positive on the specs, RAM would have to chime in on them... Since he is the one who did the design.
  9. Thanks fellas. Here are the completed pics. Customer will put the top baffle on, as he needs to put the speakers in. let me know what you think! Dustin
  10. Thanks! There is just a 45 in every corner of the enclosure. Overkill? Maybe, but it does smooth out the air flow. Dustin

  12. Here is another enclosure I did for a customer, design was done by RAM (like all of mine) -- and its for two SA-10's. This one is almost completed! Let me know what you think! Dustin
  13. I usually use a combination of epoxy/sealant and screws. You could try using just an epoxy, but its worth the extra bit of effort to get some screws in there as well since there will be so much pressure underneath the plexi. Dustin
  14. Be VERY careful is you are thinking about drilling into plexiglass. Stuff cracks very easily and one crack, ruins the piece. I use plexi on a ton of enclosures for customers and I always use a drill press and SLOWLY punching down on the plexi (with a up and down motion) until it goes all the way through. That's the best way in my experience
