Thanks for the legit responses guys. I was told to do 1 to 1 ratio staying pretty close to the subs sealed recommendations.....obviously that's not right. So Sensai, why couldn't you just correct me or just set me on the right path? I think the mods shouldn't be bashing someone who paid to be on this forum and was just looking for some help. I will be putting 2 SA 12s in a 4th order in my trunk. I have the box design complete but i am stuck as to where i should tune at. I will be using 1 6" in aero port and i was thinking around 40hz for my tuning. The box is going to be around 3cu ft sealed 3.25 ported and i want the box to be capable of playing 20hz no problem...Since most of my music is reallllllly slowed down Whatcha think????

Its a 2012 corsa blue kia optima sx T-gdi. Could you explain this "add-a-amp" im not familiar with the term? Anyway Iv got it sounding a whole lot better now that its working off the signal from my stock sub. I feel like it could play 25hz and under better than it is..Maby the stock sub signal is crossed around that area?

nope no 6x9s just the stock sub in the rear deck. I tried using the signal off the stock sub but that didn't work at all. The front doors have mid bass drivers..I may try using the signal off of em when i get home today.

Yea that's what im thinking. Thinking i should try running it off of the front two doors instead. The front doors are only 6.5in mid bass drivers. The back doors are a Co-axle set up..i think. Thanks for the input

I'v installed a RCA "LOC" in my car yesterday, simpily because I dont want to replace the stock HU. Im running an SA 12 on an AQ 2200D at 1ohm and it sounds great......Untill i try to play anything below 40 hz, The sub does not even move on the lowzz but anything above that it is at full excursion. Anyway i am pulling my signal for the loc off of my rear door speakers and i was thinking maby they were crossed around 50hz and that was the reason i cant play my beloved low notes. All settins on the AQ are correct, subsonic is set below tuning on the box...Which is 29hz. Also this car has a stock amp running the infinity sound system. Anyone ever ran into somthing like this???? Thanks- Nick
