Yeah. ..I know some peeps who could help me out with getting custom terminal inputs. .. But if i don't Need them, I know the 3500 only comes with one positive and one negative. I'll get everything together with a dd1. ..I guess just product handling and voltage drop ate my concerns.

its a custom made alternator from Mike over at Singer. 210 Max/180 amp, 130 at idle...a far difference from my 80 amp max OEM alt. ive been using Knukonkepts 1/0 OFC and ive been happy so far...
two runs of 1/0 pos and neg from front batt to back? then 2 runs of 1/0 pos and neg to amp?

Hey everyone. I'm in the process of getting a sundown audio saz3500 to push my 2 X10 in a kerfed ported box tuned to 33 Hz. Have two xs power d3400, high output alternator, big three (1/0). Even though there's really no such thing, is this too much power for these subs. They would be in a one ohm load. I've seen some people only running a 2500 on a single z18! Just like to get some feedback. .. Thanks in advance! Also, is two runs of 1/0 necessary for this setup?

does anyone have a build design for two sundown x12 in a ported box for a car trunk? I found a design on the sundown web page (sketchup)...but I was wondering if anyone had had some other designs that they are willing to share...not competing, just looking for solid low end production.
any help is most appreciated.

@skittles, its a hifonics 5 channel amp putting out 60x4 rms (4 ohm load, class a/B) + 750 rmsx1 (2 ohm load, class d). im looking at upgrading to some more powerful woofers in the future so that I can utilize the 1 ohm load capability (1000x1)
thanks everyone for the feedback!

I'm building a system in a 2007 chevy aveo ls four door sedan (don't laugh). Due to the monster current my amp is requiring, I'm looking at upgrading my big three and installing a h.o. alternator. Anyone know of a great place to get an alternator that will fit? And, if I upgrade my big three and get a new alternator, do I still need an aftermarket battery? What about a capacitor?
