I noticed you havn't denied many of the facts I have stated, so in silence, I must conclude that you are in agreement with me and you must be in agreement with my silence of not addressing your assement of me being a socialist, so you must be a socialist. It's sad that you only see people as left or right, you have a very narrow thought process. It's like i'm witnessing the early stages of the movie idiocracy. You do know there are more than two economic systems right? You do know that there is an easier and more rewarding way to fix a human problem than just killing them right? Do you know there is a difference between conspiracy and conspiracy theory? You act like the word conspiracy is linked to crazy people beyond disbelief, like it's impossible for it to be a reality.
So the ONLY possible explanation for differences in income is a conspiracy. You know homosexuals and IV drug users are far more likely to have HIV than straight non drug users? Must be a conspiracy, certainly not an example of bad consequences for bad behavior.
The trouble with trying to shovel that shit on a board like this is that everyone, including the black folks around here managed to get a job, work hard, and have nice things. They're by and large not looking for a handout or making excuses and oddly enough people who do work hard for what they have tend to be reluctant about the idea of being forced to hand over the fruits of their labor to those that refuse to work. You may also find that most of us have been robbed of our hard earned toys at one point or another as well and you DEFINITELY won't find a lot of sympathy for thieves around here.
Who here has gone outside in the morning, saw broken glass and felt sorry for the thief because they were only doing it because they were oppressed and didn't have a 6 figure job?
Equality means equal OPPORTUNITY, the perpetual victims feel that it means equal reward, property, and recognition regardless of ability, effort, or behavior, and the Marxists will bring everyone to the lowest common denominator to force their flavor of "equality".

Check out China, India, or most of sub-Saharan Africa. You are missing my point. You may see the claim of "the man" taking them down as a ridiculous claim, even laughable. But there are a lot of facts that show otherwise. They lack the intellect and understanding of why being opportunistic in a situation like this is not beneficial in the long run. There are many factors involved... education being one of them. Families can't afford home schooling when they scrape by to afford food on the table... which leads to parents working over 40 hours a week, allowing less time for them to raise their children and put more of the load onto the public school system. Then you have cut rate education due to most of the area living on the edge of poverty. It's a crappy cycle and we could break it if our government would of invested in our own, rather than throw trillions into countries across the world and see it go down the drain, like what is happening in Iraq right now.
Socialism is the religion of victims and you sound like one of it's priests. How is it that the MAJORITY of a population is still the victim of oppression somehow? It's seriously time for someone to take some fucking personal responsibility here.

I'm sure it's a badass woofer, I saw the prototype coil in person this winter but you simply can't put that much heat into a 4" coil without failure. 5000W is like every burner plus the oven on full tilt on your electric stove.

Cool, buy the sub, buy a big amp, clamp 5K and take a video. I'm sure a recone won't cost more than 300$ if you're wrong.
All the Sundown woofers I've kept up with are rated at pretty much retard-proof continuous power. That's actually one of the biggest things I like about the way they market, it's honest, and likely saves them a lot of trouble... basically they know if you break a woofer you were abusing it because they're virtually indestructible within their rated limits.
Some companies may rate their 4" coil woofers at 5KW, and I'm sure you all know a guy who has a youtube video of himself running a 5K (or 7K) amp to these subs playing music. This should not be confused with 5KW continuous thermal power handling, it just ain't so and I'm going to wager that Jacob will put a true indestructible power rating on them. If Jacob comes back here and publishes that as his rated power handling and is warrantying that won't question it, but OP throwing out 5KW I'm calling bullshit.

Your words are gospel truth. As a black man i have been harrassed by the police for no reason many times... Thats just comes with being black. I was pulled over in an all white suburb once ...frisked .. car searched and given a ticket for " driving with no apparent destination" Court threw that right out ofcourse. I wanted to call them every name in the book... but instead I followed the cops commands and let my lawyer deal with anything else... I am not giving the cops any reason to shoot me down or beat me down or lock me up for some fake charge. Usually if you treat them with respect and dont let them goad u into anything...all you have with them is a polite conversation.
If you think that black folks have the monopoly on being mistreated by police you are sadly mistaken. If you're up for some reading PM me for stories so that we don't hijack the thread, or just ask around, as I'm sure almost everybody here has a story or ten.

Honestly I have a couple friends that are in law enforcement and I can tell you that even decent guys after a few years of 40+ hour weeks dealing with the absolute dregs of humanity get a bit jaded, so even the "decent" ones can give you trouble if you go out of your way to be an asshole or win an argument with them. (And yes, I can count my cop friends so it's easier to keep track of them).
Do not provoke them, do not run, do not make threatening gestures or fast unexpected movements. "I want to speak to a lawyer" should be the only words you say to them beyond identifying yourself.

Let's assume for a minute that the cop goes down for murder 1. The "celebration" would look about the same as what's happening now.
As far as "waiting on all the facts" I'm calling bullshit on that line. I'm quite confident everyone has made up their mind by now and that is just translation for "I'm just waiting on facts that support what I've already decided before I say what I think in public".
For those waiting on the "facts", what precisely will you accept as "facts" if they contradict what you are expecting? We're already on the THIRD autopsy, which leads me to believe that somebody is fishing for some facts that they like a little better than the original ones. Is everyone willing to agree that what our legal system decides is "fact"? We had better, collectively, if we enjoy the rule of law and civilization. I will distrust the government more often than not, but the alternative to accepting the rule of law is barbarism.

Consider that amp will theoretically hold that voltage down to 1 impedance (safely). 1200 and change at 3 ohm, 2500 at 1.5 ohm, no reason to suspect it won't put out most of 3500 into 1 ohm assuming your battery voltage is consistent.

A good rule of thumb is that if you have to ask, you have no business running more than manufacturer's power rating to a woofer.

There's way more to amp repair than just replacing obviously burned parts. Please do yourself a favor and send it to a professional before you damage it beyond repair.

Oh yes. I would say if you have a pair of 15's in 6 cubes you probably don't even have room for a pair of 15's much less 4. Whatever you do, don't skimp out on box volume or port size would be my advice.

Idk about MORE musical, but people underestimate the bigger DCs imo.. especially 5s and Neos. I heard both, and both were more than musical.. In a good box.
Now, with that being said, I love me some 6s.. No, theyre not the most efficient obviously.. but fuck..
A friend of mine always ran single 15" in his civic. LV6 was second loudest in his box out of about half a dozen top tier subs he tested in there (louder than LV5). Very impressive for 4" coil IMO. The only problem was the failure rate and price of the DC softparts. It's a shame since the 5 and 6 are really strong platforms.
As far as "musical". Box and cabin accoustics will be the dominant factor there.

Personally I like to build a sub only as stiff as needed to control the cone with the power I plan to throw at it. If you're talking about a sub with a 40 pound plus magnet the electromagnetic dampening of motor + coil will be far more dramatic in determining response than the mechanical dampening.
If you're doing SPL competitions stiffer generally gains, of course with the caveat that you can make a sub stiff enough to jump up and down on without moving and it's not going to be terribly loud on low power.
In short if you're not competing or don't have any other compelling reason don't opt for "extra stiff" suspension since you will lose efficiency, likely raise your peak frequency, and have an overall less musical sub.

It is highly probable that you can gain 3dB a lot faster spending time, effort, and money into optimizing the box and aggressively deadening than by trying to double the power with inadequate battery bank. It takes power to make power, don't think that beyond a 3 second burp you're really going to see much difference doubling up on amps, Particularly at that power level when you're fighting power compression in the subs and panels flexing, and especially if you don't have a lot more of a battery bank.
I'd even say that you'd likely see the same gain by getting even stronger electrical and running the amp you have at 18V (assuming your amp will run on 18)
Of course if you just want to do it for the sake of saying you have 10K of power, go for it, but have reasonable expectations.
The reason i wait to hear facts before i judge.....or decide to burn my own city down and loot.
