Ok, thats what i figured. He must be a jl fanatic too right? I got to hear a couple of the thinline 12s a while back and i was very surprised by how little bass output they had. They were in a pontiac firebird running on a jl 500 and you could barely even hear them things. And they expensive too!! jl audio doesnt make 12 thinline only 13.5 they must of been knock offs
