Oh i know I had it on the ground terminal.

Sorry negatives connected to the terminal on the amp. but now that I think about it I shouldve used the negative terminal on my battery back there.

Subsonic filter is all the way down. Crossover frequency is all the way up as the manual said I believe.

Ok Ill try that. Am i having an issue with my speakers playing the 40hz tone or is that supposed to happen?

I tried using my dd1 for the first time today. But i ran into some issues. And while I feel stupid because I know this tool isn't hard to use I need to ask anyway. I attempted to find my max headunit volume before distortion. But the problem was my dd1 did not even detect 40hz. I had the unit plugged into the positive speaker terminal on my sub amp (DC 2k) but i first unplugged the speaker wire going into the terminal. Maybe thats my problem? I had gain all the way down bast boost all the way down. When I played the first track mt door speakers were actually playing a clear 40hz tone pretty loud. My eq and bass settings were all flat as well. Is this supposed to happen? Apologies for the stupid questions but I need some input. Thanks.

Who knows what the enclosure will perform like, because he sure as hell probably doesn't... If you wanna hate on the guy take it somewhere else. He helped me out and the enclosure looks solid. Id post a picture of the plan but Im on mobile now. Ill leave it at that @rolex nice man where are you at? Ive had the dc's for a couple weeks now and everythings almost done just need to order my amp in the next few days. Ill probably post up a build log soon. Any pictures of fan setups would be appreciated. I just stopped at radioshack again and the guy showed me a fan that is essentially a small air conditioner. It creates cold air and pushes it out. Do i need to go that far? Or is a simple fan that pushes any air good enough. I wanna do this right

Alright so with summer coming up I wanted to find a good way to cool of my Kicker zx.2500. I was at Radio Shack and found these small fans. I was wondering whats the most effective placement for them. should I mount them near the vents blowing air into them or blowing the air out. And is it safe to wire the fan to my power and ground on the amp. (I would fuse the wire in that situation)
