thanks for the advice, the next box is going to be a lot smaller. this is going to sound stupid but i over calculated the bracing and ended up not needing as much as thought, o.. well trial and error i guess. after this video i cut up the box to around 18 cubes and repositioned the the port crx style.

i have a brz 2100.1 running 4 dcon 15's and i got no complaints it does the job very well, like alenv10 said hifonics amps don't get hot (i don't know if its a good or a bad thing). i don't like the terminals facing down makes it a pain in the ass trying to install 0 gauge, but for the money it's a good amp.

i just got a 01 last august with over 300Km's on it and it run's and look's like new, for the most part it's a tank. like kryptonite Said just make sure it's been maintained and your good. only thing is the newer Vortec have a few noises like lifter tapping and/or Piston Slap, youtube it. i just let mine warm up in the morning.
