Is there any apps that contain 3d model drawing. Basically a sketch up style app. Cost doesn't matter if there are any. I understand the app doesn't have to actually be a sub box app but just a 3d CAD app that can be used for basic Box designs Thanks all

The reason I want .5 is because of money I have looked around and like the 3000 does 1750ish at 2 Ohm I feel by doing so I am wasting mobey, but I could get 2x 1500 watt amps and run them at 1 ohm.

I was reading this article about final impediance, http://carstereochick.com/blog/2011/01/11/2-ohm-4-ohm-1-ohm-whats-the-difference/ He claims that 4 ohm sounds best and tight 2 ohm is more power but less controlled and 1 ohm is sloppy and avoid it at all cases, so basically he claims that lower the impedance = less sq but more output, and vice versa for higher impediances. Is there any truth to this article? I mean a majority of people on here use 1 ohm loads even Lower on some cases, I think this information is incorrect :/

Yeah that's cool I'm just making sure I only require 2000w Rms from it so it won't strain it too much I understand I could have problems if I wired it down to .5 only so I could pull more than 2500 from it, and by electrical you mean 14.4 stable after voltage drop HO alternator 1/0 gauge wiring all of that gear ??

Yeah I actually checked the price on 2 they re like 950 each that is ok with me but then the total for them to be shipped to aus was like 4,500 so eventually I may order some but not for my first build I have to have something to look forward to

Yeah his Harley is an ultra classic Electra glide it took him like 5 years to save for it. I have no problem with this, and he also got the motor re worked and all that bizo. I just can't see why he can't see the parallels in out hobbies

My dad used to have a 12" in his boot and a set of 6x9's and 4 6" door speakers 2 Amps 1 6 channel and a monoblock he just doesn't like them anymore So I dunno but I don't care as Long as I'm holy everyone else can deal with it cause I will be happy with the 4 12" for now

Yeah I will happily drop the cash I enjoy installing systems I am currently finishing automotive at school and soon be doing an apprenticeship. So cars In General keep me occupied and yeah I'll do 4 and if they have a cry they can go do that I'll just sleep in my car and all will be good

Hey everyone I am going to install a system but everyone I know including my family is completely against it I currently have 2 dvc subs 500w Rms each and 1 1000w Rms amp @ 1 ohm soon to be installed but I am now considering on running 4 and getting another amp so I will have 2,000w Rms but everyone is telling me it's a pointless waste of money so they are almost making up my mind to jot have a decent system is there any way I can explain to them why I would want this I know why I want it same as all the members on here understand haha but they dont understand, I mean it's my money my car I don't know why there hating. My dad just spent 55,000 on a Harley but thinks my 2,000 max preice range for this system is a waste I can't see how there brains work. Thanks in advance

Yeah I feel really stupid but I forgot to sand off the paint where I grounded the amp. I used my dremel to remove all the paint to make sure haha it is better but it gets warm but I have no problem with warm just not a fan of hot

Yeah i underdstand this but i brought them before i knew about big names and when this happens i will upgrade as easy as that so i will one day get some dc audio gear, but im only young so im not insanely rich, and besides i am still at school so i am about to start an automovite apprentiship so i will have more funds later on in the year

Yeah they are clarion The best the ones they make haha believe if or not they are a new range they have good reviews and they come with an exact box design I am getting a twin box exact spec made I am excited to see how they go and they will be in a wagon so they will be good for now

Well see that's the problem it has 1000w Rms on top of the amp the specs give a rating of 1000w Rms @ 1ohm so I'm a guessing this means it can run at 1 ohm and the power source for the test was lacking so that would be my first cause in my eyes

This is true i just felt like sharing, And about the box i hate it even more when they try to hide the rms from the box these subs state it 500w not much but im not too fussed, And if this means anything it has some speaker compliance thing so ay least they can assure that they will do rated i hope haha
