    :hairtrick: My friend (and competition) Bret has 4 DD 9515s walled in his F150. Powered off of 4 M3s. Does about a 156 streetbeat and burps around 158.     First I have a: 97 GMC Sierra Ext Cab 2wd 5.7 with a few mods Rebuilt Transmission as of 2 yrs ago Fully Bagged and lays frame Well my transmission started slipping . . . so yea I have to get it rebuilt apparently. But the guy at the shop told me I probably have to get my drive shaft shortened because it's in a bind against the transmission. Well considering I have many more performance upgrades planned and possibly a 454 swap in the plan I would like to know what a good performance transmission would be (like some links!). I already have a shop lined out to shorten my drive shaft. So instead of rebuilding a crappy stock tranny I'd be more comfortable shelling out the few extra bucks for a better one.

    I have to have some extensive lasering and re leveling of the frame done before I even consider putting the bed back on.

    Getting a new one within a few months and the old one is just too far gone and cut into (not my doing)

    Long story short i took my bed off and it's not going back on for a longggggg time. I need to figure out how to get the gas tank on truck and stable (can't afford a fuel cell right now) so give me some ideas as to what to do. PICS:
