What size alt minimum?

I'm going to be running 2 Fi BL 12's with 2 Batcap 2000's and a DDm2a amp. Will an alternator upgrade be necessary? I believe my alt is 120amp? What can go wrong if I do not upgrade, what are the consequences.

I was looking at that as well, but the DD just seemed like a better choice than the 2200d. theyre pretty much both the same exact amp. but the DD is made with much higher quality internals. So in the end you'd say the DD?

I'm looking for something that's around 400-450.00. I'm putting it up to (2) Fi BL 12's and just want an amp that would power it best. I'm stuck between the two, and really can't decide. Sorry, I don't know that much about car audio, I'm still trying to learn..

Maybe he dont want cheap lol The DD is gonna run him over 500... I sent him a link for a used one for 450 I sent a message to him. I'm trying to find the differences between the two, and if it'd really be worth dropping 100-150 extra..?

The AQ3500 is Payments Pending and the Diablo Hellfire is still in thought as well.

Alright man thanks so much. Are there any advantages of re-coning an 18 into a 12? I don't know what he was talking about then..

Yeah, that's what I was told. I didn't think it made much sense. I'll just say they were 18's but they got reconed to 12's. Disregard the magnet part Yeah I have the Bl's, but I'm also looking for an upgrade down the road, and will SA-12's really be an upgrade??
