I have a Linear Power PA2 AudioPath Enhancer for sale for 350.00 ...
but you will need a crossover for your sub stage ... I know this is over your budget ... but TOTAL control of your system ...
here is the link to specs ... http://www.linearpow...detail/pa2.html
Looks nice but I can't justify spending that much on a speaker eq, especially when I only have a 2000 dollar system.
I have a ~ $2000 system and I am saving for an ms-8. If it is important or you want it bad enough I say to hell with a budget. You just have to be patient.
soo expensive dude! nice
your budget is going to kill you. you'll be left with bottom of the barrel stuff.
having a budget sucks money balls but its there bc thats all I want to spend on an eq. I'd rather have BASSSS than really nice sounding component speakers

depending on how you set the eq up you can fade out the mids/highs. also i put the clarion eq on the smd dd1 with everything flat, volume and sub are both clean all the way up.
Thats good to know because I got my eq DD-1'd and it gets distorted extremely quickly and easily on the gain, so thats why I want to upgrade.
I think I'll get the clarion and put a separate line driver on the speakers so I can turn the volume down accordingly if necessary
-
what do you guys think of this and then getting a separate eq for the speakers?
-
Eqs746 from Clarion has all you want for half your budget.
My buddies has that one but you can't control the sub by its self. You have to turn the speakers up to turn the subwoofer up to max
basically im looking for an where the speakers can be off and subwoofer on full tilt
-
Time to upgrade my eq.
I have a cadence ceq773
http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_41255_Cadence-CEQ-773.html
Pros: Fully separate subwoofer and speaker volume
Cons: Distorts on subwoofer gain at around 40hz? so it says
My budget is going to be $150 OR LOWER
What do you guys recommend, and it NEEDS to have INDEPENDENT volume controls for subwoofer and speaker volume
Thanks!

as long as they are 12v fans, its all good.
also get a system goin on with 2 fans, 1 blowing in and the other out. Golden.
do you have pics?

Shows that hard work and motivation pays off! Congrats to you and D'amore thanks for sharing

If you cant find any I bet someone on this forum who knows how to fiberglass could help you out.

Thats awesome dude, must be nice seeing your product being appreciated and used around the world.

the two spade terminal things go to your stock headlight output, the others go to your HID ballast
-
haha yeah ecstasy, finally had to go to a counselor and rehab to get off them.
The other skittles are great
-
:drink40:
I'll drink to that!
btw skittles are good but only in moderation. My buddy has holes in his brain for the 5-600 skittles he ate
-
haha you want it after they showed it to you!
A audiophile headunits like that is McIntosh and I also heard Nakamichi is pretty damn good
-
i drive a mile away to an empty parking lot whenever i test my sub on full tilt, just trying to respect the neighborhood.
Wouldnt like it if my neighbors played classical music really loud every day

Somone educate I want to know too!

You won't like the price, but the ZED Leviathan 6-channel is a kickass amp for what you want to do. It has all the built in crossovers for your midbass, midrange, and tweeters. You could use two amps like you stated, but must make sure they have the crossover settings you will need. UNLESS, you have a separate processor, but then you are looking at more money for that.
wow that amp looks AMAZING! I want it for sureeee
-
I'm using the alpine mrv-f405 it has built in cross overs. Amazing old school amp, and then you can get a two channel amp for your mid bass.
thats the 505 its 75watts rms!
-
yes 2200 rms you'll be fine, hope you have a 120+ amp alternator
-
brz is better but the 3000hfi is one damn nice amp. i think it does 2500 clamped, and it can run at .5 ohms all day no worries
