    any 8" subs made with 3" coils? my x-8's are big but just curious if 8's with more power handling can be made

      3" coil only 400 watts RMS? Am I missing something here?

      so the American Bass 8" doesn't really help him. He wants more power handling and I would guess more xmax, not less just so he can have a 3" coil.
