starting off on the RIGHT track, what model number type r's do you have? that amp only has 50 amps worth of fusing so at best you'll get like 600w out of it. its stable down to 2 ohm stereo and 4 ohms bridged

If you got mostly JL stuff in your car right now, might as well just stick with it. you can't go wrong either way. And I'm sure if you have your electrical up to snuff, the JL amp will do more than RMS...the 500/1 was benched on another website and it was putting out closer to 700 RMS.

i almost crushed myself one day trying to hold that bitch up lol i know for a fact my voltage fluctuates like a mofo...but once i get my DC dropped and that Stinger added to the back...should make a huge difference...i gotta seal it up tight like a 16 year old virgin and then maybe I might drop it back down to 29hz lol
