  1. This will be an interesting project to watch. Do you follow any different rules, or any special considerations when doing home audio?
  2. Thanks everyone, but I just sent Ray the money. He pm'd yesterday, so he must be watching the forum...just a little busy
  3. I have tried to do that too...just no comparison to the Jasper. Using the threaded rod makes for tough measuring when you need to be exact.
  4. Time to throw out my Ryobi and get something new !
  5. Use a dual flutted bit, and go slow. I usually make 3 passes, each pass lowering the bit a little until I'm all the way through. MDF is some really dense stuff, so if you try to go too fast you'll burn the wood.
  6. I don't mind either way, I'll go with the first person to get back to me first. Thanks for the advice!
  7. I've had several fun honda's, but I guess the impressive one would be my Comp. 4 (All motor/street) drag car. It was an 89 crx, stroked b series (92mm crank, 86.5mm piston) 14:1 compression, TI rods, blah blah blah, made 276whp/172ftq and revved out to 11,000rpm on the dyno, but shifted at 10,300 normally. Only made 8 1/4 passes due to work travel, best was 11.74 @ 122mph with a terrible 2.1 60ft.
  8. Hey fellas, I've been watching this site for quite sometime and I finally joined. Little history of myself, I've been installing car audio/alarms for almost 15 years. Started out actually paying for installation supplies when I was 13 just so I could work on someone's car (free to them). Ended up working for a few shops, got burnt out, and this forum actually got me back into the game. Thanks to Steve and the rest of you guys! Anyway, back on topic. I need a box design for 2 12" type r subs, dual 4's, 600rms to each. This will be in the back of an Expedition (sorry don't have measurments with me, but should be typical of most suv's), subs mouted up, port facing the tailgate. Please design for SQL. I hear Ray is the guy to turn to. I would also like the a design for three of the same subs if it's not too hard. Thanks for the help gents!
