  2. I complete agree with single layer tests like this.. but for the money I triple layer my roof and I got good results, on the other hand never tried anything else. Down fall is I had a real hard time with adhesion on my roof even after I clean and everythng.. maybe if second skin would cut smd members a nicer deal, I would really switch over... jmo.

I also wish FI would cut me a deal on BTLs so that they're closer in price to some Sonys. But then I realized that's absolutely retarded. Better product, better performance means higher price cause that's how business works. For the same money I could buy 8 Sony woofers and be just as loud as a BTL. What would you rather have bro? 8 Sonys or one BTL? Same applies to deadener, and I think I'll take the better deadener.

    i rather have 1 BTL :P

  3. i been trying to get my BTL's for a week now and paypal wont let me finish the transaction,i tried paying with out my account and it wont accept that form form of payment, tried my account and cant use that card even had my brother open an account and still cant do it, i tried everything and in every way and it wont go through(with the credit card i want to use) has anyone had that problem before with paypal, if so how did you fix it? i would like to own the FI BTL but if i cant buy them soon i will have to go elsewhere, thanks paypal

  4. Alternators produce less power when hot. What is hot? That could be 150 degrees or 220 degrees or any other temperature. There is no industry standard that everyone uses.

These units are shown tested on the vehicle after maintaining this kind of output for extended periods of time, these are NOT peak ratings. These power ratings are what you will see out the the unit when under load and playing your music. If I was rating the peak we have seen out of these units the ratings would be much higher.

so it proves your alt are better and cheaper, i seen what yours do in a car after being warm the other have been bench tested to show me the amps output which will change after getting warm, i contact Eric today and will order 2 alts this weekend, he takes care of the costumers like no other and will come back for every setup i need

  5. Emailing Matt can take a while for a response, he's pretty busy these days and I handle all of the email inquiries.

I have a couple options for you here, but if you really want to have the best our new 300a+ unit is the way to go. It's the same unit tested in the video on here installed on my Crown Victoria, it puts out over 240a @ 800rpm and over 320a @ 1800rpm with an external regulator.

The AVBM model is $499, the external regulator model is $599. This is for the November pre-sale deal I am offering, as of Dec 1st the prices go back up to $599 for the AVBM and $749 for the external regulator model.

Email [email protected] for more details or other options.

so does the AVBM still makes the 300 amps? the external is not really needed if the other will maintain a constant 14.4 volts. 1 more question does the amp go lower once the alternator warms up, i see other companies say 280 amps then on ffine print it says its 230 amp when warm at 200 degrees

  6. I love my infinity kappa 6x 9s. They walk all over the seleniums I used to run.

yes i have some too and they sound great but i keep hearing that the others are better so i have to try it, you will never know whats better till you try it

  7. afaik, its because the cone isnt circular. probably has something to do with strength issues cause its not completely round. i'd vote for rockford fosgate power/punch series speakers. they sound way better than the mb quarts, polk, and infinitys (worst ones imo. way too fucking bright. ear bleeding tweeters) that ive had.

thanks, now i need to get me some. and adapt them to my doors. i would go with the fosgate

i have infinity and are more clear than pioneer and dont hurt my ear, will change brand though

  8. still didn't say why we should steer away from 6x9's, i have been using them for years and like how they sound. i have never heard any of the round ones so please to tell so i can start planning on getting some
