Also here is a thread about cone area, might give you a general idea of what may be louder.
but in my opinion, I would personally do four 15s in 16cf tuned in the high 20s/low 30s

DD1 is the cheapest way to find out clipping of a head unit.
I would grab an amp like this... http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-American-Bass-HD-1500-Digital-Mono-Amp-1500-Watts-HD1500-/280840698209?pt=Car_Amplifiers&hash=item416368f961 american bass is really good, and thats a great price.
And an Obsidian 12 or 15. Dual 2 ohm, run it at 1 ohm. http://obsidiancaraudio.com/index.php?id=6
should get plenty loud for under $350

pretty sure the diameter on the flanged end is 12, and flared is 11.

I had this aero custom made for my last car. Unfortunatly my car blew it's engine, and I had to get a new car. Due to space, I am no longer able to use this aero.
This port was built by my teammate Jodie Allport. Rob Wolcott (thorshammer) used to run an "alligator eating" port built by Jodie. I'm sure many of you have seen that one haha.
It's 8" in diameter, and 18" long. Flared on one end, and flanged on the other.
Would be Ideal for a pair of 12's, a 15, an 18, any many other combinations.
$55 shipped anywhere in cont. US.

The sub is still on the outside of the box...
yeah but thats mad ugg. if youre really careful, you shouldnt have any problem just mounting the sub on the outside.
-
No...how would you get the sub out? Just put the box all the way together then mount the sub inverted
oh thats what i thought he meant. do not mount it in baffle then put together hahaha. then you have pointy ass screws poking through
-
its really that simple, just take a good amount of time to make sure your surround doesnt touch...

American Bass amps are stable down to like .35ohm

i would love to run 2k, i just wanna be sure i can handle it. I will have a 35ah AGM in back, all 1/0 big 3 and power/grounds.

main tag says 'trade' LOL

anyone have input?

i pulled a gun on the newspaper lady once. she scared the shit out of me.
-
i usually use any cheap primer, and then some spray on bedliner.
-
HONESTLYYYYY i just remove the airbox and throw on a k&n filter. Gives you a nice growl, maybe 1 horsepower haha.
-
and also, the way i look at it, after voltage drop and rise, 1K ends up being like 600-700

not sure how many people feel the same as me, but I will give ANY sub 1k clean and feel comfortable.
Um, I gave my subs twice rms and softparts went after 1 year. Coils were still pretty, but 1K to any sub(clean or not) is not a good recommendation. It's like saying, 12 sq in of port for ANY sub is perfect.
okay, maybe not ANY sub, i wouldnt give a sony or dual 1k. But i ran 1k to a P3 for about 8 months, never had a problem.
