What gauge did you get?

What gauge wire do you guys use for jumping coils and running from amp to sub?

I was tryin to find some knu on eBay but wasn't having much luck for 14 awg. I think there were like two or three results for car audio

Beatbox, eBay is where I was looking but wasnt sure what wire company to go with. It seems that knuconceptz is pretty popular amongst everyone. Was just kinda looking for something that was true gauge. Another question too, what gauge do you guys use to run from your amp to speaker and to jump coils if need be?

I want to install my girlfriends kenwood radio into her 2003 Pontiac sunfire. She doesn't have I star or any upgraded sound system... Yet. But when I went to Best Buy to get the wiring harness and the dash kit they said she needed some $100 module. I wanted to make sure that was true so I called abc warehouse and Mickey shorr. Abc warehouse said that you need it if you don't want to lose your door chimes but didn't know what else it could effect, Mickey shorr seemed pretty confident it only affected the door chimes. Has anyone done this and do you know if you lose anything else? The guy at best buy said you basically lose any MIL (ABS, Check engine, Fuel, Oil) lights.

I know monster is really good, but I'm looking to see what other company's make a good quality speaker wire. Looking for something about 14 awg.

Like I said I'm trying to stay around $200, $339 is a little out of my price range

Not looking to spend a ton. Maybe around $200 total including shipping. Dont have any specific company in mind but I want something that will do a true 2000+ rms at 1 ohm. Pm me with offers please

Well it was the SN that ended in 04. Couldn't find the model number on the sub.

Well I think that solves my problem. It's a sticker on the sub under the connectors and ends in 04. Well that blows donkey dick. Thanks for the help everyone

Correct. Unless the SVC has the same connectors as the DVC I'm pretty sure it's the DVC. It has the screws for two sets of VCs

I can get close to a 4 ohm reading from and positive terminal to any negative on this sub. If its dual VC wouldn't I get a 0 ohm reading from one of the positives to one of the negatives?

They are both just under 4

It's reading 3.8 ohms

I tried that and I'm still getting 4 ohms. I can send a pic of how I have it if that would help, not sure how to upload off of my phone

I tried jumping the negative of each VC together and doing the same with the positive. I cannot figure out how to get this sub to 2 ohms

Steve, I ordered mine last Sunday. Haven't gotten any kind of confirmation or tracking number. Do you know when it will be sent out?
