  1. If you would like, I can create a design for 4 ported subs and show you how bad ass it'd look.
  2. Trollin time, Umm, make a new video lol...n show the subwoofers this time in the video +1
  3. Got a an 87' car coming in my yard to get a bunch of stuff done =D

  4. Fluke makes good DMMs.
  5. you lucky it was only the tips of your fingers could of been half of the fingers then no more xbox for sure xbox...lol we all know it was for Fapping xD ...guess the other forearm will get stronger /troll.
  6. Ah man. I had too much to drink...i thought that was a messed up vagina...
  7. Lol cant fap. I want pics!!! Trolling time! Lets do this! Drink that pain away haha
  8. I don't see a problem with it, although it'd sound a lot better in a ported box all together. *NO QUOTING*
  9. Well going to mechman alternator since DC alternators don't make H/O alternators for 95 buick skylarks...heck Mechman doesn't...I just found a buick in their list that has a 3.1L motor, the same as mine...this one. 165 amps at 700rpm - $499 http://www.mechmanhighoutputalternators.com/shop/products/GM-270a-alternator-GM-Intermediate-CS130D-conversion-AD237-case.html OR I found something from DB electrical...I dunno about them though. 200Amp at 1200rpm -$207 http://www.dbelectrical.com/p-4470-skylark-200-amp-high-output-alternator-96-97-98-8202-7.aspx Which would be the better bet...?
  10. A piece of shit alternator? Should put that in my signature I kinda screwed myself when I bought it...220amps at 4k RPM = 100 mph for full output. Go me. theres your problem. if its one of those shit ebay ones (sounds like it is), i was in the same boat. had one of those 165a ones for my car, didnt even output ANYTHING at idle in drive. literally i sat at 12.5 and kept on dropping unless i put it in neutral You are right about that, $150 for it off ebay. Thought it was a hell of a deal compared to $300-$600 is there anyway around it, or just buying a new alternator?
  11. My car shuts down with it on. Lol already tried it =(
  12. A piece of shit alternator? Should put that in my signature I kinda screwed myself when I bought it...220amps at 4k RPM = 100 mph for full output. Go me.
  13. When my car is off..it's fine. When the car is idling, *Not when you first turn it on, but once you put it into drive, it starts to dim when you are at a full stop* My voltage drop on my system when it's at full tilt is like 2volts I think. I'll have to measure it again in the daylight *Tomorrow*. I just went to the store and bought some 0 gauge terminals so I can ground off my alternator...considering that has not been done yet and it's been running on the stock ground. I have 5 lights, 3 back lights, 2 front lights. Big 3 is already mostly done...I just haven't ran a bigger gauge ground to the alternator...is it acceptable to have a ground running from the alt to the engine. Because I have a 0/1 knukoncept that is just long enough with a little bit of a moving area for the road, to fit on there.. Driving...it turns my lights really bright..same when the car is in ACC, the minute I give the car gas, my headlights brighten up. *sorry for the information all over place...I'm hoping it's just because I haven't upgraded my ground on my alt. Lights are stock...I have my 12k lights in my shed, can't install them til I buy the conversion kit for them. *Lame*
  14. Yeah some guy from a auto shop said that adding a second battery should help it, although I really have to ground off the wires on my alternator..but I have to find someone with a belt remover...since I don't have one, so I can remove the alternator bolt and attach my ground there to my engine. Unless going directly to the frame is better?
  15. You know what that means don't you? Time for speakers in the dash! lol oh lord...that would look nice haha. But I plan on having it as a family car or a car to take ladies out on a date with. Its gonna have image dynamics component speakers...totals about $1,100 just for both front and back...havent found an amp for em yet. I have 12 8" inifinity subs laying in my garage. Gonna fiberglass the trunk and put em in there lol. But I may sell them if the image dynamic speakers sound amazing. Hopifully by spring time there is a new kick ass hu which will be worth buying. Lol. N yes warranties = gods gift lol
  16. Well id rather have a brand new sub with a warranty than a sub without one and used. I seem to have a knack in getting scammed even after checking things out. Why do you think I still have my 95 buick skylark lol. I mean I have a 2009 impala...but at the time I needed something that was better on gas and flexfuel was a plus. Its been good to me so far except for the fact that it says service airbags soon lol
  17. Yeah phone line splitter works for hifonics and ppi amps.
  18. Holy crap, I just realised - XXX? How did that beast sound? Its' mounting depth is larger than my sub in diameter! It sounded so beasty and clean. It hit low notes so easily and it was a work of art watching that sub move. Lol. I only tested it for like ten minutes in a sealed box. And then sold it the next day without even thinking :-(
  19. Ah lol yeah I got mine from a lady who just divorced her husband who was into audio..got it super cheap and like a dumbass I sold it for $500 instead of keeping it because I hold so much pride in my audiobahns.
  20. Looks good. Should make your own box. Will be 5,000 times better lol. /end troll. But else wise...for a first build, not bad. You may want to get duals in the future...but with re audio...cant go wrong. Got a re 12 xxx for $250. They are very beasty
  21. Well most of the time if the battery isnt giving the amp the juice it needs it will fly right into protection mode or wont play at all. When you said it keeps cutting out. I was thinking it was a loose ground or a ground on a painted surface.
