  1. Lol it was a bs design...was aiming for exactly 3cub volume and the brackets were there to take up volume. But here's the final box I'm going to make =S
  2. Alright thank you. Appreciate the feed back. For the SPL comment, I haven't done all my research on the topic so I have no clue about that area....thus I just threw a number out to be there...
  3. ..What..? Google sketch is a good measurement tool...it's very accurate, That sub cut out is way to small....unless that was a bracket.........and I've seen ports like that...with no small braces in between them...blow right off from the pressure hitting against them.

  5. You may want to add braces between the ports. Also that speaker cut out is too small.
  6. Basically, the problem I have is I know the L X W but need to know the height. Also, I have never worked with slotted ports, so I would need all the port dimensions and I'm not sure what to tune at so I don't even know what to type in there. So: 1) Need to know tune frequency 2) Slotted or round ports? Aero ports? 3) If I type in L and W, will it give me H? 4) If I find L, W, and H and tell it I want ported and frequency, will it tell me all box and port dimensions? Edit: OK, now how do I add ports? Is there a formula for port dimensions including frequency tune and box size? The sub specs recommend 2^3ft per subs ported so I left the length full wide and adjusted width to get just under 4^3ft but I assume that will change by the time I add port displacement?? Sorry for the extreme noob-ness. Thanks for your patience. I can make a 3D model of a square box for you if you'd like.
  7. What I would recommend is Doing both ports at the same port width, 6", but divide the length in half. That's what I do in all my box designs. Unless you'll be using a divider then you divide the volume in half and put that in the port calculator

  9. Okay I have a 1995 Buick Skylark, custom, 4 door. Current equipment 220amp alternator, Big 3 upgrade, 0 gauge knukoncept power wire, Hifonics 2000RMS Amplifier, 2 level 4 DC subwoofers. 1 normal 880amp battery, and a Kinetik KHC2000, 2000 watt battery in the trunk. Current situation: I have a small trunk so I have several build designs that will fit in my trunk...barely, but I don't know which one is more efficient. Most of the boxes are tuned for 36hz, I will be making a separate box for SPL, tuned at 64hz, but that will be later on...during the summer. If none of these boxes are good, would love some advice.
