First thing I have to say is you have a great girlfriend for getting you a DD1. My wife was mad because I bought for myself before she could buy it for me.
Second, great tool. Today I set my amps in my 350z and tomorrow I am setting my truck.
Bass28, if you have a system that needs setting this is the easy way to do it. The instructions are easy to follow. Takes math out of trying to make sure your voltages are right and your not pumping distorted sound to your speakers.

So, I have now tested the DD-1. The wife thinks the system hits harder now that I have everything set. So I am happy. The bad part is it confirmed something I already knew. I need a bigger Sub amp. Great tool, easy to use. The distortion light came on at about the same voltage I expected when setting the gains. Of course I used track 7.

So would be dual d3100's for the system be better
I am still new to doing power correctly so my head lights dont dim when the bass hits. I dont want distortion or lack of power to the amps because I didnt build the correct electrical

Only if it would work. Or is there a better way to get to 14v for my amps?

12v optima redtop. Primary battery for truck
14 XSPower D1400 as secondary battery for amps
Will this work?

I did the same thing, bought myself a DD1 for Xmas. It arrived today and can't wait to test it my cars.
