What is the biggest box you can fit in your trunk. Gross volume for my box with 2 SP4's is 11.5 sqft.
Edit : why did you put an SP4 question in the Sundown section?
-
Easy answer here is Ermagerd
-
So what is the bass gonna be recorded at (-0, -5, -10) we need to be prepared to set our DD-1's accordingly

I have been going to the same brick and mortar store since before there was an internet to buy stuff. Because of that I can pull one of the owners aside while other customers are in the store and ask for a legit price. I still like to support the local small businesses. So too keep the good relationship with a shop is a good idea. Remember Amazon can't always ship stuff to you 2hrs before a comp.

How long will the special last? doing my tax returns next week.

I use -10 on my sub amp but use an LC-1 to turn down the amp when playing stuff like decaf.
-
Vodka/mountain dew's right now. I'm gonna check out what you did. I may hit you up for more info
-
I was talking about Wicks lol.
Would put him on southwest. $125 each way
-
Sounds like you need an o-scope in your dash........
Hey, tony keeps coming out with cool stuff all the time. I have no idea it it's something that would be hard to detect or display. And for all I know it would be something the deck would have to detect.
I hear what you're saying, same reason why I put an o-scope in my dash to look for the same thing.
Make it affordable and show me how, I'd do it.
Check my build log.
My o-scope was only about ~$50 or so, plus it needs a resistor divider network to reduce the voltage from the amp.
Tapping into the RCA's might be easier.
Tapping RCA's was what I was thinking might be possible
People on this forum keep making me wanna try stuff cause they put the knowledge out there. I will look at your build log and look for this. I just looked at your build, I have no idea how I didn't go through the whole build. I will check it all out tomorrow when the sun is up. to much vodka to read right now
-
It won't be affordable. Fly him out, buy the proper equipment and tools, pay labor (that part is cheap), fly him back. Lookin at about 2 grand sir.
EEEEK!!!! that's not cheap. Is he flying southwest?? Are you talking about flying out Wicks or Tony? Cause I'm about 4miles from Tony's shop

Wire it to the RCA outputs on your head unit. Would only work at "full tilt" though
Ya, that sounds like a pain. I was hoping for a cool digital read out with -db on the screen would be badass. Like it could be detected no matter what the volume is.
-
You are correct. I'd like to know if I am clipping, but I'd also like to know when I play a track what it's at. Like going from Jeezy at -5 to an old school sir mix a lot at what seems like +3db. so one song would show -5 and then you hit the next song button and it shows +3.
-
I knew that would monitor where you wanted to be, but not if a track was -0db or -5db.
-
As the title states. How about a tool that can tell what -db a track is??? Lets say my favorite cd is at -2.5db, I'd like to know if I should turn down my system a little to reduce clipping if I set my system at -7.5db .

Just over 3 cubes after displacements, tuned at ~33 Hz. Port area is 54" and there is a double baffle.
Holy crap, you were faster than JoeX

Sundown is just an expensive option, a lot of companies are cheaper and the same quality, don't limit yourself to only two company options.
Sundown is not expensive compared to companies like JL.
RF - Sundown - DC - CT Sounds and many others are all good. Everyone has brands they prefer. Yes the power in both my builds is RF, but speakers are crescendo's, Fi, RF, and Sundown.
And yes my Sundown sub performs great :-) Which is my Sundown review as initially requested

Well I mean you got n8 Kylar snd snow drifter in this thread. They are all way smarter then me but I don't see why my suggestion wouldn't work logically. And if you have LC1's connected you can easily use the dd1 to find where (-5) would be on your lc1 while turning it up... Make a little mark on it and don't turn it up past that point when your playing decaf. And so on and so forth.
Hope that helps.
Makes way to much sense. I am game to try it
