oh, i forgot, i tryed to burn it with my documents but it wouldn't reconize the file format so your saying to burn the cd how it will burn it and load it onto itunes as a mp3 and then try it that way? the cd is ricky skaggs - bluegrass rules! i kno its not some kinds music other ppl listen to on here but i live in the south so i just like it i guess

i unno if its just me but why does how the sub face make a diff in a ported box? pritty much all the sound is comeing from the port anyways so what does faceing the subs do to change sound? and porting threw rear deck sounds good but if u cant get a big enough hole in the deck it will sound like ass every car ive heard that was ported in rear deck was loud as shit i heard a monticarlo with 2 l7 12's that was ported threw rear deck and it got down something fierce, i think it was 4 or 6'' by 12 or 14'' rectangle im gunna do a trunk car with 2 15's and i still dunno how its gunna fit, might halfto angle the front of the box to get enough room for em to fit, my seats fold down tho so there gunna be faceing into cabbin, fireing into cabbin is louder but only if u can seal it off from rest of trunk, all the sound goes back into trunk and sets there so ur not really getting any efficiency out of it mines gunna be sealed firing forward, i was gunna try firing backward but trunk rattle would sound like shit lol but all cars are different so u'll halfto play with ur box to see what will sound best for you anyways good luck

thats the only way i could burn it, i went into itunes and found the cd but its uploaded as a m4a file instead of mp3, i didn't kno how to do the mp3 thing till now and i dont have the cd to load it i'll try something later only thing i found was it said it could only be played in a computer cdplayer, i tried my house stereo and it was just 1 file and played about 30min but no audio

i lost the orignal cd and when i tryed to burn it i used windows media player and it burned it as m4a audio instead of mp3 or wav or w/e u need to play in a regular cdplayer

i was thinking this but i unno how to port it threw rear deck do i run the port out the box and threw the deck or cut a hole in the deck and have the front wave going up the deck? i was gunna do a sealed box cut a hole in the rear deck or just set down the seats, or would porting threw rear deck make it louder? i listen to alot of country and rock, but i like to wang out on some rap and what knot every now and then so what would be best? i really love low bass but i like tight bass too and this trunk has minimal room possable so i unno what i can do

i had 1 15 in there befor but it was hard as hell to get the box in with that floor in, im thinking about cutting that floor in half and putting a box in and then put the other part of the floor in or just use what i need or dont and just remake the rest of it for an amp/battery rack i got 2 ported boxs for my 15's built already but i dont know if they will fit or not side by side, i might just run sealed in there if i can if my honda was running i wouldn't have a problem gettin a system in it due to the accords big trunk but my geo is little as hell and aqward too

well its come to the time that im sick of midbass and we aint got enough room in my geo so im going to put my system in my geo the loudest system i had in my geo was 2 rockford punch he2 12's in a prefab ported box ran from a mtx 500d wired to 1ohm for teh loudness and 4ohm daily and i was wondering since my geo is a salvage car that has been hit in the rear end that when they put a new one on it theres not as much trunk room as it useto be so i was thinking, should i try and build a sealed box thats sealed off from trunk and fire it into cabbin, or trade/sell my 15's for some 12's and do a decent ported box? i got 2 sheets of 3/4 birch to work with and i kno a small bit of how to fiberglass so i might can make it work, im wanting a low end/loud setup for the geo but still be able to fold up the back seats and haul the son around in his car seat if i need to this will be a slow work in progress so it can be due to change if need be, im gunna run 2 batteries, i got a 75amp alt so it should be fine with big 3 for 1000rms im gunna take out my polk speakers in my truck and put my premire 680 back in my truck i guess and put my 860 in the geo and im gunna use my majestic 300w 2ch for tweets and memphis 150.2 for mids and run active, im gunna have either my kickers or my polks up front, and witch ever works im gunna put the other comp set in rear deck and take my kicker 4ch rcas out of the truck and put em in my geo i guess why im doing this is because my geo has power windows, power locks, sun roof, it has a/c and so does my truck but it dont really matter to me if i fuk soemthing up on my geo cause the car aint worth much anyways, and so i can run a car alarm on my geo wit remote start cause why spend $100 for a alarm when u cant even unlock the doors with it? my truck is manual locks, manual windows and thats pritty much it im gunna put my ipod controler in my geo, i unno what else, i might just run my polk coax and just put my factory deck back in cause my 680 has mad engine whine, it can be somewhat fixed with grounded rcas but i dont want to go threw that shit again but with the budget i got i guess i'll stick with it, hell its a $200 deck anyways and still works anyways what would yalls input be on this? size down or try n sqeeze 2 15's in the geo? will running active make it louder? or would u just leave it alone? i just miss bass and these 2 8's aint doing shit in my truck, going from 2 15's to just mids n highs sucks ass im gunna halfto tear everything out ecept power wire, geo will use the 4guage for temp and 0guage in truck till i get some bigger for geo, im gunna see what all will fit where and i might end up makeing me some apillars with some 4'' coax or something to help the highs in front but that wont work if i run active tho, i got alot of shit that aint being used and i dunno were to start the reason im not driveing my geo is brake lights dont work right due to petal switch i think or a short somewhere so i take my son in my truck but when i get the brake lights fixed and some new tires on my geo i'll start driving it again but i need to spend time wit my son cause he's growing up to fast all im looking for is some mild bass, my 8's are in to big of a box so i was thinking about putting some 3'' pvc in it to see how they do ported cause im gunna build them a sealed downfire box anyways to see if that helps and carpet to match truck, or just go all out on the geo? i want something decently loud, the 8's i got sound awesome but i cant ever find a right box for em, they got some mad excursion too so they could get pritty loud anyways sorry about the long as hell post, i typed it this way cause if i didn't i would forgot some shit i was thinking about, if u take time to read all of it thank you, but if not try to skim to the most inportant parts, i feel like this is a damn jernal or something, anyways lemmie kno something, thankx

i uploaded one of my cds to itunes so if it got scratched i can just play it on my ipod but i want to take it off itunes and burn it and i did but i unno if it will work or not, it burned it in a .m4a format and i was wondering how i can burn it so i can play it in a regular cdplayer i kno how to go into itunes to get songs and what knot but this cd wont do like the others will and i think cause i uploaded the other cds from my comp to itunes but this one i uploaded it to itunes and now i cant find the cd, can i reformat it to mp3 and use those? when i burnt the disk it said it can be played in other comps but i unno in a reg cdplayer yet, i aint tried it yet, and for some reason when i play the cd on itunes it dont skip but when i do on media player it does skip, its the same file and i unno why plz help cause i need to burn this today

i got some blue headlights i might can sell u i got a 93 accord, i got some kinda blue as shit low beams and some hyper white with blue tint high beams, i dont drive the car cause of engine problems and when i do start to drive it im gunna replace everything with hid but to let you kno with these deep blue headlights u cant see shit in rain

they wont take back bulbs i tried this once with some apc aftermarket headlights and they said they cant take headlights back cause "i might have touched the bulb" i was like, why the fuk would i touch the bulb? i dont want to ruin em for me so why the hell touch em? and i got some of those glow pedals for my geo and they wouldn't take those back cause i might have fuked up the wireing, i hate buying shit that dont work, i just hope they will take back my break light switch so i can get my geos break lights fixed

i seen a pic of one what had mtx 1,000,000 on the back of it and thought mtx made it but now that i seen this and it looks to be the same sub i wanna hear this i kno mythbusters did a shit job on that "sub" they built first off, the movement wasnt liner like a normal sub is, it was all weeble wabble type shit i mean come on, they could have worked more on it than they did and could have had something twice as cool but i do admit that 156db @15htz is still sick tho but with that area they could of done more subs, but for some reason, why the hell dont other people put subs like they had there faceing up and brace the shit out of the roof? maby it would be louder to have subs faced up witout seats and what knot in a spl type vehicle? anyways enough with the babble, i still think thats cool and what about that sony sub they made? it was like 40inch or something like that, i got a dvd with it in it, i unno if it works or not tho, its hanging from the celing

ive used all kinds of rcas and they seem to fade in and out with diff brands ive got some knu rcas but never used em yet with the made in remote wire but they should be good i got a set of pheonix gold rcas with the gold ends and they are a bitch to get undone once you put em in, i use em for my 200disk kenwood cdchanger ive used the stinger black and yellow rcas and they were pritty good, ive used schoshe rcas and they were ok for simple shit i got a set of $40 kicker 4ch rcas and i love the hell out of them, these are the ones i use now rcas differ from brands too, i got the stinger blue shelded 2ch rcas for my sub amp and i had a matching 4ch set and they lasted bout 6 months or so and took a shit, and my kickers work perfect and have been for a while i might take out my 4ch rcas or keep them and take out the stingers while i size down my system and use 2 rcas for my 2ch and the other 2 for my subs you do get what you pay for, but for an all out sq person it would take a keen ear to find shit wrong with rcas tho when my buddy did that big install in that bmw 750i he used those yellow and black twisted stinger rcas and there was not one bit of distortion in the hole setup, and was loud as shit too but for me, i got by price normally but if i want quality its monstercable for home, and high end stinger, knu, pheonix gold, and kicker for car but with anything you buy IT ALL HAS TO DO WITH INSTALL lol, if you dont put the rcas in the right place it could cause interference and sound like shit, and ive done this befor when i first got started

if u want to run the speakers by them selfs off the 4ch u will been a external eq sorce to take the place of the cross overs the speakers came with, something like a rockford 360.2 or so this lets u dial in to fine tune it a lil better u can run tweets on front channel, mids on rear channel 4 tweets on front channels, 4 mids on rear channels hope this makes sence, i need to get a good 4ch so i can run active, my headunit will let me run active but my 4ch is broke so im stuck running passave off a 2ch amp @2ohm

first off, how many speakers are u wanting to run in all? u can run 8 4ohm speakers off that 4ch i think mids n highs amps like lower ohm loads more than higher cause i had my hifonics zxi4406 runnin at 2ohm on all channels, had my front comp set and rear coax wired to front channels, and my 2 8'' dual 4ohm midbass's in back wired off rear channels and when i switched it to 4ohm on all channels it took a shit so how many speakers are u wanting ot run? and are u trying to run active or passave with external xovers?

so you sayin ur nerves to work on the benz cause it costs alot more than ur sebring and u dnt wanna mess shit up? i understand that, but with that being a benz its prolly got 4guage in it anyways so i unno what adding more 4guage to it will do

i think 4guage is good for 1000w but ppl just run 0guage cause they kno there gunna upgrade afterward my voltage drop is from 14.4-13.8, thats as much voltage drop as i get, never goes lower than 13.8, even at 1ohm wasnt lower than that you should be good with what u got, you could wire the subs to a higher ohm load to see what kinda voltage drop that gives u and if it aint that much u could try to drop it to 1ohm n see what it sounds like i had a mtx 500d 2ohm stable amp with a stinger 1f cap on 4guage wired to 1ohm with 2 15's and with my headlights on and on bright (the car was a 93 accord with 4 bulbs, i think 55w low beam and 100w high beams) at idle my voltage drop was 14.5v with no other electrical upgrades, i unno how tho shit was mad wangin, i was useing 10guage speaker wire tho, and no mids n highs amp, and this amp does 775wrms @2ohm with 14.4v so i was doin a lil around 1000 i guess on 2 mtx 4500 1544's, lol around 400-500rms somewhat clipped goin to 2 250w rms subs lol i think u will be fine bro, ied wire it to 4ohm if ur useing dual 4 subs and see what kinda drop you get, and if its not that bad try 1ohm n see what happins

ied take out the 4guage and add it to a big 3 for now, i think most stock auto's have 4guage anyways, my truck had less than 10guage ecept for alt to battery i got a big 3 in 0guage and it helps with current flow, but doesnt help with voltage that much, mine stayed the same a lil bit with voltage drop and what knot but with the extra current flow it got louder ied run 0guage from front to back, use that 4guage for temp big 3, and u should be good for now i got a 950amp front battery, 800amp rear battery, big 3 in 0guage, 0guage from front to back, sanded down ground spot, and with a 1000rms @1ohm amp wired to 2ohm i still get dash light dimming every once in a while, and im running a 300w 2ch too ied try this first, i kno rockfords make hella power but it takes power to make power too

i dunno what your laws is but back when walmart sold those "beat to the music" neon tubes a guy got a blue one and zip tied it behind his rear view and had it flashing n shit goin down the road hell around here they bitched about what color underbody lights u had would deff look cool for a show car or something, but not while driveing i got one of those glade light up air fresheners things that have 1 red, 1 blue, 1 green led and i was gunna take something like this or rewire it with some of those 12'' strip lights at auto zone to make it brighter at night so i can see to get up and what knot

ya, i seen this like 3yrs ago too on filecabi.net but ive yet to see anyone else try it on another scale, would like to see a 8'' or atleast a 4-6'' speaker in there to give it a more range sound but i think with that much air pressure it would blow out the flame lol
