I do need another VM-1, I actually have like 5 stinger meters just sitting around 1 brand new in the package still lol.
send hiim the stinger meters and use one coupon for the vm-1 then toss the other coupons into the system of the month as 2nd 3rd 4th and 5th place prizes.

my guess would be because caps charge and discharge at the highest voltage potentail so they wanted to test it at the best voltage they could get from it.

I think what would be interesting is getting a small extra batt that holds around the same as a 1 farad batt and do a side by side test of that. then do the same with a big batt and a 100 farad cap.
then do a test with the small batt and 1 farad cap hooked up at the same time and the 100 farad cap and big batt hooked up at the same time to see how they work together.
A AAA battery holds more than a 1f cap lol.
I think a better comparison would be to spend an equal amount on caps and batteries and compare the two.
We already have a valuable piece of information: that capacitors do work. But I think it would be cool is if we could take this a step further and see which would be more effective: spending money on caps vs spending money on batteries

ok so how about a battery equal in price to the 1 farad cap and battery(s) equal in price to the 100 farad cap? then we would have some info on what could be more cost effective in those situations? would have to include shipping costs for the batts and caps, like use sonicselectronics.com ( commonly used website for car audio ) website and get a shipping quote for both the caps and batts to where ever the test will be done. should also test a 1500 watt amp and the 2500 watt amp all with the same electrical. this would help show what option could have more gain per setup. a lot of people use 1500 watt amps daily and for comps and a lot of competitors use 2500 watt amp. could be a beneficial test to both the daily enthusiast and the competitions enthusiasts.

i havent fiberglassed yet but will be in need of doing my doors.
my question are mostly the same as others but was wondering if maybe you would sell something like starter kits. a kit that comes with say a gallon of resin, brushes, cups, body filler, and sand paper? that way its a one stop shop deal. get everything you need to do the job in 1 order.
as far as uv lights for curing it, go to home depot or lowes and you can get uv light from there for indoor gardening and hang 1 or 2 in your garage. brush the resin on flip the switch got eat come back and do the next layer. flip the switch check smd forum and repeat until project is done.

placing my order now, about $30 cheaper to ship it to oregon then alaska, not only is movig to oregon gonna be great since ill have all that nice warm beach weather and family i havent seen in over 6years ill also save a lot on shipping.

Got my taxes ordering one by tomorrow night. One question though. I'm moving to oregon in about 17 days so I'm wanting it shipped to my sisters house. I know some places wont ship to a different adress then what is setuo for the cresit card being used.

it is a lot of work to set up. You have to set it up by region and then if you want to get more breakdowqn by state in each region under each one. Set up permissions etc on all of it. Its been discussed. I wouldnt expect it though unless someone gets bored nd needs something to do.
this is true, would be a lot of work to get it going. wouldnt need it broken down by state realy though, wouldnt realy need any of its own subsections at all. maybe a sticky per state in the region but nothing more realy.
its all just an idea. figured i would throw it out there. if it happens great if not no worries.

I'm not realt saying a section for wach state. Dived the states into regions then have a sectio. For each region. Would be more like 4-8. Then when wanting to post thread about a get together or comp you put it I. Your region section. Even kf yoh need help doing an install you can ask for it I. Your regio. Section and someone closer to you woll have a better chance to see it.

lol, yeah but they cant hand him a sub that might not last with a whole lot of power or one that doesnt move enough air. they have to make sure its big an bad enough for his testing first.

i personally see nothing wrong with his son getting that. his life his choice. everyone does things differently. teaching his son that hard work at school and home got him that truck is a lesson about working for what you want. im sure if he slacks off meade has no issue with taking the keys back.
personally when my oldest can drive if i can afford a new car for myself or wife she will get the old car and anything and everything in or on it. if i cant afford it then ill buy her a beater with a heater and slowly pay for parts but she will have to be right there helping me fix it. im gonna teach all my kids how to do their own work. thats just my 2 cents.
cant wait to see how yours sons Yukon turns out. hope he helps with all the work put into it. will be interested what kinda of ideas he can come up with to throw into the design of the system and look of the car.
