well ive had 2 of them ported before also had 2 sealed box is about 10 cubes i can put them in so i can do 3 ported or 4 sealed if i do 4 its only buying one more 15 i have all the wood an everything already but truck is coming from cali just moved back to ga from ca also subs would have to face forward either way ported the port would be firing up

so if i ran 3 15s ported would it get louder than 4 15s sealed?

dam you think i could expect atleast a 145 out of my 3 cvrs?

I saw everyone doing the 8" woofer craze i had 4 kicker comps back in the day sounded pretty decent im about to rebuild my system of 2 cvr 15s to 3 cvr 15s which i already have.. was thinking if i sold these off an bought 12 cvr 8s or 8 cvr 8s and put them in a sealed box of .6 each would they get as loud as my 3 cvr 15s ported? only sub amp i have is a bxi1606 any way the 8s could all be wired to this amp?

ok i can get 11.25 before sub displacement an port displacement. the cvr 15 is what .12 of displacement so that would put me at 10.89 how big does the port need to be? what does it need to be tuned to?

subs are rated at 500wrms if i have a bxi1606 even at 2 ohms thats 1100wrms soo thats double power right? ive had 2 ported an also have had them sealed i want more so we will see if i can either squeeze some more room or something out of it

those are fact. specs meade is runnin a smaller box than recc isnt he? are there calculations before or after displacement of the sub? i can get 2.75 a sub so 8.25 after displacement is this not enough to run ported?

i can squeeze between 2.5-2.85 after displacement of the sub for each sub would it be best if i ran them in a shared box if this would work what should my tuning of the port be?
