  1. hp tuners, efi-live, ls1 edit. depends on what program tyour tuner is using i believe.
  2. wow, this is probably the wrong forum for this type of question. Odds are you will have to tear it down pretty far to replace a mainshaft gear. I would postpone the rebuild unless you have another car to drive while its torn down and see what else you may need to replace. If your gonna do it, do it right.
  3. Its because engineers dont have to turn wrenchs on what they dream up.
  4. Where did you see these on sale? have had my eye on these for my girls car.
  5. You see the two bolt holes on the bottom of the block. This is what I used on mine. If they are available then have at it.
  6. The eBay intakes are fine, they just usually utilize a cheap filter. The tubing is fine and bolts right on with little to no modification. And like said above, get one that pulls air from the fender area so it gets cooler air.
  7. ^^^Agreed. Dont know much about Blackbear tunes but should definitely help on volumetric efficiency, so you dont have to lay on the pedal as much to move the truck.
  8. Ive been working on F-bodys for 10 years now and this is the usual order of things. Cold air intake and exhaust (headers, y-pipe and full exhaust), cam, heads/intake, cubic inches and or power adders like nitrous/boost. power adders will require fuel upgrades though. Fuel pump and upgraded pump wiring. A good dyno or street tune will make any mod more efficient.
