  1. Because the amp is rated at 150W/channel regardless of impedance. They have JLs "RIPS" circuit. They are not rated for 150W @ 4 Ohm, 300W @ 2 Ohm etc..
  2. How do you go about using the DD-1 on a JL Audio HD series amp? I could hook the DD-1 up to the speaker outputs and find the max undistorted voltage level, but putting that into different speakers with different impedances will cause massively different power levels. How do I use the DD-1 to find the max clean power I can give to eg a 3Ohm load? Cheers
