Whenever someone says "not to be an ass....." Chances are, they're being one ughh..... i said it not to sound like one its kinda annoying that you can scroll down 2 screens maybe if that and BAM its in your face and why did you even post that just to be an ass i don't see you helping edit: if i wanted to be an ass i would have just asked instead of wasting time saying not to be an ass Now that is just hateful. I'm a very helpful person. thats why you came into a thread that a guy asked a question and all you said is that about what i said REAL helpful The thing is, I don't know where it is either. How am I going to point the FNG in the right direction if I don't know where it is my damn self? I just took note of the shitty attitude twords the new guy. I hope he finds it though. I charged it again for 4 hours, it was charging for 3 hours then was complete and went into maintenance mode for like an hour. Now it's resting at 13. Thanks so much for everyone easing my concerns. My D3400 just arrived and its on charge now.I probably wont have it in the car for another week because I still have to install my amps, build speaker baffles and tweeter spheres, and build the sub enclosure. Would it hurt to charge the D3400(supplemental battery) now, and then again right before I install it just to be on the safe side? This is my first time running dual batteries and I have a slight case of OCD and want to do everything right. Thanks everyone.

ok, I will give it a longer charge time to see how it goes. It gets finished charging, then goes to a "maintaining" cycle where it pulsates. I wasnt sure how long to leave it in "maintaining" mode so I disconnected it. Maybe it will help if I let that thang pulsate for a while.

Ive read on other forums that 12.5v is a bit low for resting voltage. After putting it in my car it seems to be fine, but then again I haven't installed any other equipment yet, but will soon. I just didnt want to wait too late. What would be a good resting rate for a battery?

I got an XS power D5100r recently and I read the voltage when it got here and it was at 12.5. I put it on charger over night and it was charging up to 14.5v. When I would take it off the charger, it would drop back down to 12.5. immediately I am using a CTEK Multi US 3300 charger. Is this a bad battery, should I send it back?
