When you open the trunk it reduced backwave cancellation, b/c the box is not sealed off from the trunk and cabin.

i know just saying. and plus its a trunk car with non folding seats. so it really surprised me how it hit the lows.
My dads trunk car with non-folding seats did well on the lows...

My buddy is gonna do a new system in his 97 civic, I think hes going with two 12" DC Lvl4XL on a T4k sealed off port through the rear deck.

There's only a few in my town that are into system but they don't know much about anything... All the know is there friends w7 is louder than anything... So I'm the only serious basshead around here... Most people are interested in making their car fast then having the whole package.

I never said Kappas were bad speakers. I OWN A PAIR. They are not 2 ohm. Like I said earlier they are closer to 3 ohm then anything. Overall they are decent for the money. I like speakers to be more on the sharper side then harsh.
Measure the DMM leads they have resistance you tard... They are pretty close to 2ohm... My RE XXX6.5 are 2ohm speakers... They measure exactly 2.0ohm, 2.3ohm without correction for my test leads.

6-8" wheel will work for 235s, My factory tire size is 235/75/R15 on factory 15x7 wheels...

Look at JL's stupid power chart at the bottom, honestly my friend had one in a JL spec enclosure and fed it ~300wrms... shoot for that his preformed pretty well with 300wrms.

Its says 350w on the JL's site....
But if you look at the power chart below it apart in the specs that is the peak rating from them...

So I was just looking around and stumbled onto this hearing response curve test and was interested to see what some other peoples curves looked like compared to mine...

Instead of their direction, I left my headphone are my normal volume and went up from the bottom until I could clearly hear the frequency, DO NOT ADJUST YOU VOLUME...
Just for reference I'm 19 I've been into loud stereos for awhile, shot many guns without hearing protection and what not and think I have pretty good hearing... Anyways take the test and lets see what others response curves look like comparison to mine, take a screen shot of you screen and post up

What are you looking for? A sleeper? Or just a fast car easily modded? Mustang is the hands down best choice for the latter. And each model from '80 to present has it's own options. Also, what is the budget for this?
I'm not so sure about that... The new Camaro is definitely something to be reckoned with... LS series motors loves boost even a stock bottom end...

I hope you fully know what you getting into when you decide to swap something, and turbocharging a N/A motor takes a bit of knowledge... If your not an EXPERIENCED in engine rebuilding and engine wiring.... You may want to pay someone to do it...

Needs deadener and some bracing... My roof was worse than that, put 3 layers of second skin on it and foamed the roof braces, problem solved.

Great stuff takes a few days to fully cure, I would advise you to go easy on the bass or bad things could happen it that foam isn't cured.
