  3. I need a new box for my 2010 silverado regular cab . I have a 2 mbquart 12s shallow mount and just want a ported single box . Any ideas ?
  4. its all good. this thread is to help people. but im still not understanding as to what i need to do. im still new to doing this all myself. ive had two shops work on my truck not knowing what they're doing. so im learning right now. so i should be doing the big 3 here pretty soon , but im still not understanding the hole/ alt to starter battery fused.... starter battery to cap fused...... cap to amp fused...
  5. sorry. the pictures were taking at night. kinda hard to get a clear picture with flash. but anyways, what your trying to say is that i need to have 3 fuses?
  6. https://picasaweb.google.com/110622912573002766182/Truck?authkey=Gv1sRgCP2e8sCfurDyLw there a link to my pictures. now i disconnected the red and blue and screwed them together. to give the amp power. now under the hood. i have the alternator running to the battery on the right of the fuse , and a wire comming off of that same bolt to the fuse box . and on the left side of the fuse is the power cord going to the fuse block into the cap.
  7. yeah ill try to get pics up tonight. i hooked the capacitor back up but ill post what wires i took off and hooked together.
  8. im Running a 1600 watt single channel/ im running 2g wire throughout the truck./ id say about 10ft of wire maybe less / and the big 3 hasn't been done yet.
  9. So I posted about two days ago that I have have power loss issues as to where my bass would drown out. The replies that i got said to take out the capacitor , as for it being the problem. well i took out the capacitor and hooked my two positives cords together so it would tie into my amp. i turned on the truck and the bass hit for about 3 seconds and my amp completely turned off . Now what is the problem? ohhh and i checked voltage today. from the alternator to the battery im getting 14 volts. and from the battery to the capacitor i was getting 5 volts. if that helps any
