  1. with a 160A stock alt? 120A or 140A is the largest stock alts I have ever seen. If its a true 160A thats awesome My 2007 Tahoe has a stock 160 amp alt also. OP, make sure you do the big three in 1/0 along with the D3400 and you should be good The wire is on the way for the Big 3..and the D3400. I just wasnt sure if I needed an extra battery or a bigger HO alt. I'm still not sure what I will be running sub wise. Upfront I'm putting (2) sets of RF T2 6.5" components..4 mids, 4 tweeters off of a RF T400..and either a RF T1000 bdcp or T1500 bdcp for subs. I'm leaning towards the T1500 bdcp and running an Orion HCCA 10" off it..
  2. yea sorry, got busy for awhile..its a 2011 Chrysler 200 S, and the 160 is stock on the S, it has the pentastar 3.6 V6..along with leather/suede inserts on the seats, sunroof, upgraded Boston sound system, the rims..it is all 'stock'..you can't find the 'S' model without all of it. I will pictures up soon as I will be starting a build!
  3. okay, thanks..just wanted to make sure I didnt hurt anything
  4. I plan on replacing my main battery with D3400 XS and I have a 160 amp stock alternator..I'm goin to be running a RF t400 and a t1000 bdcp, so that is around 1500 RMS total. Do I need a second battery and/or HO alt??
  5. Okay..I thought I understood, but now I'm confused. lol .I'm wanting to add (2) SETS of tweeters and midwoofers..4 midwoofers and 4 tweeters. Could I bridged any of tweeters or woofers? like before or after the crossover? I'm sorry for the confusion.. haha I'm trying to draw a wiring diagram now.
  6. anyone? The RF T2 components I will be using say that they are 100watt RMS per side/ 200watt RMS pair..but it also says on the back of the 6.5" woofer that it is 100watt RMS..does the tweeter run 100watt RMS as well?
  7. You are correct wonderbread..I thought I explained it better than I obviously did. I dont really DL off of Datpiff, I normally get Lloyd Banks mixtapes off his website, but same difference.
  8. so is 50 watt to the midwoofer and 50 watt to the tweeter
  9. I believe the T2 components are 200 watt RMS a pair and the T600 4 channel amp (4 ohms: 100 watts x 4 chan. 2 ohms: 150 watts x 4 chan.) That is the other half of the issue..I'm not too sure on how to wire all this.
  10. I'm looking to add 2 sets of Rockford Fosgate T2652-S component speakers..4 tweeters and 4 6.5" midwoofers. I'm looking to run them off the Power Series T600-4 4 channel. Will this be an okay set-up? and I'm kinda wondering how I would wire these as well. I'm a noob at crossovers!
  11. Is that a real answer? Stop talking. OP, ya ever think about buying cds? Like from cd stores? They have those. Have you ever thought about reading the ENTIRE post before leaving a smartass comment..because I cleary explain what your comment was about. You know what I mean?
  12. There is always a considerable difference in quality when comparing actual authentic cd's and burnt cd's off of my computer. I have it set on the highest quality for my burner but it still isn't great. Am I forever stuck with crappy cd's. (I dont steal music btw..I buy my cd's but I do download the occasional FREE mixtape)..lol Just wanted to clarify
  13. I was wondering where you were at Jon. I will placing my order tomorrow, and hopefully I'll start putting up pictures within a week or two as I get started on my project. Thanks for all the input guys!!
  14. Thanks emperor..thats exactly what I was looking for. Yes, I purchased it brand new and only has 3,500 miles and parked for winter. That is why I have decided to do all of this now. I'm a little stuck trying to take the B-pillar trim piece out. I'm not sure how the clip releases at the top of the piece above the seat belt, but everything else is stripped, except both B-pillar trim pieces and the headliner. Also adding alot more, I will take pictures and start a build log in about two weeks. I havent broke any clips, yet!!..but I did crack the C-pillar trim piece, a little bit. Thanks for the help!!
  15. you dont think I should even add foam or anything..I dont want my panels to rattle or anything
  16. thank you xterra..I would think I would need more sq. footage than that now you said that. I'm looking to do my entire car..doors, floor, roof, and entire trunk
  17. JBL Audio - 580rms..7years old and still kicking
  18. Hello, new to the forum and I knew if I needed car audio advice, this is the place to get it. As my name almost suggest, (realize now it is mispelled) but hey..I have a 2011 Chrysler 200s and I'm looking to sound deaden the car before I add some subs. I was planning on adding 80sq ft. of Damplifier Pro and didnt really know what else I should add. I obviously don't want my panels rattling or road noise. Would I be okay with just adding the Luxury Liner Pro? Any suggestions Jon? lol
