i traded my old laptop for it laptop was worth like 130 dollars. The sub is about five years old the guy said.

So i got this 18 today and I have a few questions for the people know know alot about FI. the kid i got it from told me it was a BTL but i am not sure because on the magnet it looks like someone wrote "FI BL" i really just want to know what it is.. The sub does need reconed and that leade me in to my second question and that is how do i go about getting this thing reconed. thank you eveyone that replys to my noob question.

Yeah I just talked to my cousin and he had problems with the same guy on caraudioclassifieds. He told me he is crazy and threaten you if you don't settle with his deal I am now going to buy all of my stuff new. learned my lesson luckily i knew what to look for when it comes to stolen stuff. Thank you every one for you feed back

yeah just a warning to the people that like buying used he does alot of business on caraudioclassified.org well that is at least what he was telling me.

Ok, so i drove 1 hour and 30 mins to this guys house today to trade him my kicker l3 and my jl 500/1 for his avh-3200bt. he comes waling out with the head unit it looks legit. He then hands it to me i am looking at it he originally told me it came out of his tahoe and i am looking at the harness just hanging off of it and its one out of a 90's honda so red flag goes in my head. i told him i would like to just test to make sure it works and he was cool with it so i cut the car harness off of the head unit harness i wire up ign. power, ground and plug in my rcas for my amps and turn the key the thing is beeping but no video on the screen and i was looking on the harness for the illumination and dimmer leads and of course there was none. i told him that the harness wasn't the right one and he was like oh yeah my friend just pulled it out of his car because he got a subaru and does want to void the factory war. by putting in a new radio. by this point i am like wtf this guy is lying like crazy changing his story. he then told me he texted his buddy he is on the way with a new harness and he told me he will be right back to try a different one he has. he left the headunit with me and while he was gone i notice there is no cage for the headunit and the screw holes for the dash kit are stripped out and bent so when he came back i told him i had to go and left. just wondering if anyone else thinks it was stolen. ps sorry about the bad grammar i am posting on my tablet in the car.
