I'm only thinking of strapping because I'm unsure of the vfl150.1-175.1s outputs. Might be cheaper and better to strap
-
I want about 2500-3000rms watts. Will 2 vfl 100.1s strapped do this on 2 xfls and how do I strap them? Or should I get a vfl 150.1

where would i get an isolator? -
also the box is 24.75inches deep with the .75inch baffle over the subs. does that change anything?
-
yeah there cylinders, one top to bottom (13.5 inches) and the other side to side from port wall to box wall (25.75) no dowel in port and there both 1inch thick
-
i mean 31.88hz with displacements
-
because you are adding a 9 inch extension. 21.5+9= 30.5 Then you see I added 9 to the length of external port? that shows the calculator that those extra 9 inches will not be inside the box therefore they will not be subtracted from the net volume. EDIT: Your final tuning will be 30.95Hz if you add that 9" extension. dont you mean the final tuning will be 31.34hz with 30.5 port length. and thanks i was worried that i would only be tuned to 34.95hz with the extra 9 inches
-
y would it be 30.5? it says inner dimensions so doesn't that still make it 21.5? and its 3 common walls and .28 woofer displacement with 1 baffle
-
(2 12s) my box is 15high x 32.5wide x 25deep. (25 deep with baffle over subs) the port length is 21.5inches all together and the box has 2 1inch dowels crossed for bracing. port is 13.5 x 4.5 and i believe tuned to 36.33hz, i built a port extension (9inch) what will this make my tuning? and how much of an extension do i need to tune my box down to 32hz?
-
so 3800rms at 14.4v and 3000rms at 12.5v?
-
i just wanna know if the 200.1 will do 4k
-
i wanna run about 4000+ watts and i was looking at either the VFL 200.1, 450.1 i wanna know if the 200.1 will put out 3800 watts like stated or if its less? and if the 450.1 would be better rated rms at 1ohm and .5
-
i just want to make sure no air gets back into the trunk... and isnt the sound what rattles the trunk? so how will sealing it off stop the sound without deadning?
-
thanks but i wasnt born knowing everything about audio systems haha... or how air and sound travels or works agaisnt types of wood
-
wat about plywood?
-
i read other posts about sealing the trunk but no one ever said anything about plywood? can i use plywood? and y is cardboard not good enough? what else can i use in my cobalt coupe
