I love reading stuff like this...its always good for a lol. I built a bad ass custom box for this kid on high school sold him some subs. He blew them weeks later and said it was my fault cause the way I set the amp..when he left gain was at half bass boost off. When I looked at it bass boost and gain were both maxed out so I basically said fuck off. Then three weeks later he texts me saying he bought 2 new subs put them in the box but they don't play at all, I asked what kind he got and he said and I quote "the worlds best passive radiators off eBay" I didn't respond and deleted his number lol

That's so sick, ever since I was little I've always loved legos. I've always wanted to have enough extra cash to just call Lego and say send me a box of every color and just build whatever.....each box holds like 500,000 legos or something bad ass

Ive had a bad ass router and a clean ass roundover kit for quite a while, my router has 3 different handle attachments but ive still been cutting my sub holes with a jig saw, last night i finally bit the bullet when i was ordering some of my door speakers cause i had a coupon code and finally ordered the big jasper jig. Im so fucking excited, ive wanted one for so long and even bought a real strong spiral upcut bit at the same time i bought the whole roundover kit so ive had it this whole time just never really had a use for it. So yay for tools making things quicker and easier in our lives, i know once i use it once im gonna smack myself for not buying this years ago because i have built literally dozens of boxes for my 150 and all the holes have been cut with a jig saw and let me tell ya when i did the box that was all made out of 1.5" mdf everywhere and did another layer of 3/4" ontop my jigsaw was hatin life, plus there has been a few times i have cut the holes slightly to big, or too small. No more of that! Im hella excited incase you didnt know, so yea thats my story got my jasper jig coming, go me!!!! lol

for some reason i dont have word or powerpoint or excel or anything like that on my computer like i thought i did and i really need them. i know you have to upload them from a disc or something but can you send it in a zip file and open the zip file and then put in the code? a friend of mine did it for me when i had xp and used the code for dozens of his friends with no problems but i wanted vista for the sidebar (stupid reason i know) and lost all that, so would anyone be interested in sending me all those programs on that cd in a zip and the code to use it? or sending me the cd and id send it right back? or know of a place i can download all of them, i mainly just need word, excel and powerpoint. when it comes to computers im pretty illiterate but know how to use them and can follow directions and i know that there are alot of you on here that are strait up crazy smart when it comes to computers, it just blows me away. im getting ready to pass out for the night so ill check in on this thread when i wake up, hopefully there are some good responses and not the ones im afraid of "your fucked, Microsoft wins again, steve jobs is laughing from the grave" lol

That sucks man......don't lose a good.job for a woman especially one that sounds like that. I wish more than.anything but due to my physical situations at the.moment I won't be able to for over a year so don't take working for granted. If you got a good job back at home tell her if you love me you'll move for me now, if she says no bone her sister then move (trying to.make you laugh on the last part)

no 0 gauge inputs, but just make the length of the 4 gauge as short as possible to both amps
He could use 0-4 gauge reducers as well. I bet he would notice a difference if his elec pltrical is decent, plus they can be wired up right and made to look real clean

^^^ Good idea. I am actually testing out a buddy's Ap1500 in my car that he ordered for his home towers i'm building for him and noticed it had an auxiliary input for the remote. I was like lolwut. Haha
The AP 1500 has a odd bass knob ill give you that, the 3ks bass knob is standard headphone jack size but as cool as their bass knobs are they fail hard. Once you get to half gain on the knob turning it up anymore makes really no difference. That's why you should order the package module did like I told bff Larry too. There cheap and last forever and if god for bid you brake it, its just 15 bucks or so and can run as many amps as you want. But whatever you do NEVER buy a maxxlink trust me on that one

Just get the 3k, its two internally strapped 1500s. I had a sponsorship from Audiopipe but it went south with the first order and they refused to help me so make sure where ever you order it the place has a good warranty (not that you'll need it) for the price of these amps there.bulletproof. with a really good electrical can do .5 burps if you roll it slowly and play 1 ohm bridged on music daily. It might go into protect but 4 seconds later its right back out without shutting the car off or restarting the deck. I really wish my sponsorship woulda worked with them but in the end it worked out best. Also if you get the 3k and you can sweet talk me I can tell you a trick to gain a solid DB per 3k no matter how many you run and not clip them

nooo...i dont have the skills for that, and what i did can be undone but why do it when its already a steady db louder than a stock ap 3000....you cant argue with the termlab results

Old version only had one power and ground input with a 3k board I believe the newer version with 2 power and grounds has the 4k board and is a beast.....looks like he used a garbage disposal to store that amp though. Its definetly seen better days

If I open it, it voids the warranty cause there is a sticker over the back casing and no you can run it however you want the bolt holes are just stripped that's why I did what I did. Its almost midnight so after you email me so I have your number ill send pix tommorro. I have termpro numbers to show the DB increase also...went from doin 47s to a high 49 if I remember right

The way I have the speaker terminal mod done...I mean I guess you could do whatever you want and run it lower I'm saying the.mod is strictly.to wire up to the bridged side though. Like I said between the two amps I gained 2 DB and that's big if you saw how simple the mod is. It's not the prettiest thing but does its job and does it better than stock

2 ohms bridged that is so your getting all the power. I still have the original box to ship it but the bass knob for it broke but you can buy the package inline RCA bass knob cheap and its way better anyway

I have one for sale works flawlessly but has modded speaker input terminals so only.can be ran at 2 ohm. The upside is after I did the mod I gained a solid DB per amp so its not a fail, I will include the washers, ring terminals and wing nuts and regular nuts for what you prefer to go with it. Go ahead and pm me if interested. Also it was ran off 160 feet of 0 gauge 2 290 amp alts and 4 big group 31s with mla module....my "bad" volt drop and I would be at 14 volts and that was with 2 AP 3ks

If you want lots of space and arnt gonna do a walkthrough or blowthrough forget the extra cab truck. I say keep the alero do the suspension up real nice, do some nice solid 12s and maybe performance adders to help with MPG and a lil extra pep

Forgot to put in that even though I've seen Steve's trip to la for Lexus with the new psyph song he played it again for me on the towers and at the end where he revs the engine it just grabs you by your balls and fills you full of testosterone. Simply amazing I cant say enough good things about everything I heard. I can't wait to get my truck finished so he can run the dd-1 through the sub amp and give me the seal of approval and get some more demos. Too bad the civic isn't up and going that thing has always had a soft spot in my heart from the first time I heard it, its no Tahoe or hoopty but its clean as fuck inside with the beelined everywhere and with the power they are putting in and possibly switching to smds that windshield is fucked six ways from Sunday. I love it, your boy is gonna have one sweet demo and show off vehicle when its all said and done. Too bad your always so busy I'd see if you can help me mount all the x9's I gotta put in for parties and fun. By the way I emailed you about those speakers Steve.

That sucks man I'm sorry you gotta get rid of them. I wish I was closer or there was a way to ship them because I would take all 3. They would love it here, I mean they would be turned into outside cats but we have about 5 other outside cats and 20 acres of land. They catch cotton tails, snakes, mice, rats whatever and always have food and water on the front porch. My place would be perfect but I'm just so far away. Good luck finding a place for them to go, pets are like family to me I couldn't imagine having to give them up.
