you probably could have bought some shoe goo and put that back together. that's what I did when my dust cap popped off

I used a shit load of masking tape around any areas foam ever would of gone so its not that big of a deal I could've fixed it but the actual surround was deteriorating, so if I wanted it fixed I would've needed to do a recone.
BTW, I remember you! I came across you when I was researching escort builds. My cousin has the same one as you and we're starting his build soon. I've read all your build logs and may have to use some of your ideas, Excellent work!

the only difference is the mounting depth and a couple breather vents on the basket, no biggie

For some odd reason, the glue holding the surround to my cone came un-gooped and left me with this
Bob at American Bass helped me out as usual
got a new one 3 days later and was all set! -

UPDATES:
It's been a long time since I posted, so I figured Id update you guys on what I've been doing the last few months.
I needed to make some clearance for a bigger box in the future so I made this over my winter break.
I just had to see how they sounded :3
