  3. meade builds boxes. well at least, it says to pm him about building. he even has a complete price list. honestly, if you have the grip, and really want the best, hit him up. LOL!!!! or the guy who just replied right before I posted this. LOL!!
  4. congratulations!!! Big time!!! Here is a tip. Go to the next comp and do spl. The burp, so to speak. Run a sweep track and ask them what frequency has the highest db. Then go straight to that track, and crank it!! That's what I did. They are permitted to tell you what the frequency is that your car peaks at while you are in the run, so that lets you find out, and get to the track before the end of the run so you can post your score. Also, that frequency wont change from what I understand. I have competed twice now and took two firsts and one third and my vehicle has peaked at the same frequency both times. For street beat, run a cd that has lots of that frequency. But anyways, congrats on the first place!!! Keep on pounding the lanes man.
  5. my buddy has an old school fosgate 300x amplifier. It is a 2 channel and I was wondering if it is bridgable. If anyone has any info at all on this, please let me know. Also, how many watts rms is it in bridged mode if possible? thanks!!!!
  6. thank you all for your input!! and no custom tracks for street beat. Has to be a cd that is fully available to the public and no constant tones. Like the gentleman said, it has to move the spectrum analyzer during the run for steet beat. Any more input would be great. Thank you all very much.
  7. I know the frequency is quite high, but I am running 2 15's sealed. My car peaks at 64hz and need a really good song to use for street beat. Any knowledge would help. Thanks much!!
  8. drop the back seat man!! they are way over-rated. LOL!! I have a kid, and the second I get another vehicle, that back seat will be in my basement and I will be at lowes or home depot buying wood for my wall!!!! Do it right, do it big. Just my opinion.
  9. well, I greatly appreciate it. I don't care what other people say cause I am down with learning, and whoever wants to help is welcome to. Thats the way I see it. Thanks again man.
  10. the boxes are rock solid, so they should do well.
  11. it helps tremendously!!! I appreciate the time and effort you put into helping. Thank you very much.
  12. thank you very much. You got all the pics!! LOL!!
  13. yes, right now I have two kove armageddon kmg 15's each in their own 2.25 cube enclosure sealed before displacement. I have an 02 sunfire and need the back seat. The only option was to go sealed. I will be using the existing enclosures unless I want to hack pieces of my car apart!!! LOL!!! Which I have thought of!!! But yes, sealed. Does anyone know how they perform(15" q's)? Please let me know. Any input helps. Thanks.
  14. Still desire more pics of the 15" fi q's from many angles. If anyone has pics, please post, or post where I can find pics. Thank you all!!
  15. cool. Thank you so much man. I appreciate it.
  16. oh yeah? how did they perform? I plan on running mine in 2.06 cubes each after displacement. How did you have yours and how did they treat you?

  18. these are pics of the 15" right? I just want to make sure. Don't get me wrong. I just want to know I am looking at a 15. Thank you soooo much by the way!!! I appreciate it. I am trying to see how it looks compared to my kove armageddons, but I know it isn't the look that matters, but the performance. But thank you so much!!! 15"s? please post pics. I can use all the differnet pics I can get. And thank you very much? Why you takin them out?
  19. yep, they just basically show a side view of the sub. I would like lots of angles and close ups. If I am missing some pics on their site, please let me know. Thank you.
  20. If anybody has any pics of the fi 15"q's, please post them. I am mainly interested in checking out the motor and magnet assembly. Pics of the entire sub would be great though. I am very interested in getting 2 of those to put in my enclosures that I have now. Any pics would be much appreciated. Thank you all!!!
  21. LOL!!!!!!!!!! TOO LATE!!!!!!! I have already thought of how I can fit 2-2.5 cube vented enclosures in the trunk and still run in the same class and hit a 150!!!!! LOL!!! And that was just my first event. I can't imagine what it will be like when I take 4th and just HAVE to place!!! Why does my wallet feel so much lighter? LOL!!!!
  22. ok, the only 2 fuel pumps I have experience with are a 91 probe and an old skool mustang. The probe was easy. Changed under the back seat. The mustang, we actually dropped the tank from underneath the car. No it is not a huge deal, at least not to me. You just have to be careful, use wooden blocks to support the gas tank so you don't dent it, use the proper tools to get the fuel pump out, keep it away from spark and open flame, and do it the way the book tells you to. That is why the book is there. Oh yeah, and don't blow yourself up!!!! LOL!! Everything should be fine. Safety first!!! If you have any doubts, fork over the 125 and literally watch your shop do the pump personally at the shop side by side with the mechanics so you learn. Most likely they will let you. If they don't they just don't want you to know how to fix it yourself. Be safe!!!!
