  1. just like the title says guys what cool stuff can we find out with the im-sg. i skimmed the manual and couldn't find anything to do with 6th orders. i now you can find out that final load your amp will see, and yes that is cool. but how about like port tuning frequency or even usable bandwidth stuff that you used to be able to do with ported enclosures of 4th orders.

here is a graph of my parallel tune 6th order band pass (yes guys i know there are different 6th orders) wired at .5 ohms (.35)

  2. Thanks man! I did went ahead and got it! I'll let you guys know how it went but thanks for the input!

How'd the install go? You happy with the results?

the install went smooth.. i got it hook up to the reverse lamps so it flips the head unit camera ON when going in reverse... the camera LEDS are bright. the picture quality is ok i thought it would be a little clearer but i think my head unit monitor plays a toll on that... over im happy with the camera. thanks for asking :)

  3. im with brian on this one il take more amps over idle, when i did a the dual alt set up i had the dc 270 xp already and i added a 370xp because i was could not fit has many battery i would like, so in the end it does suck to demo at 2k rpm, but i never drop below 14volts :)

edit: but Miguel i do see your point

  4. whats up guys. need some help. i have an enclosure that has all kinds of angles, shapes, and curves and it hard to measure, its fairly big(roughly 15 cubic feet) , and for the moment its all sealed up and have the chance to measure with an im-sg before i start cutting holes , now my question is if i where to use a single 10" woofer for the test would it give me my enclosure size. or would if fail due to the enclosure being so big that the woofer think its in free air? how would i go about this?... for reference yes this about my 4th order trunk build.

    thanks in advance guys :)

  5. i dont mind my voltage going to 12.5V since im running the JL Audio HD amps and still produce my actual watts at that voltage says JL Audio.. but i just dont what my batterys getting Fucked up, since i notice my resting voltage stays any where from 12.4-12.8V when the car goes to sleep :D ... I also think my alarms eats up alot of power i dont use the car that much only on weekends, the only good thing i do is charge up my battery's almost every weekend with a XS power intellicharger :)
