I know you know your set up, and your not a retard, but, ugh.... i dont like -15 either. At all.
You need more board bro ,... -15 is way wicked. Get more board brother.
i know what you mean, i just dont have any more space, or i go brasilian amps which im kinda ... waiting on subs to blow to recone to .5 or try some crossfire subs and wire to .5

just like everyone said if your after numbers you do it... you probably wont notice that much of a difference you will just be adding stress to the sub

wheres the video?

I see SMD is still stuck in the same mindset about wiring below 1 ohm lol.
And yes, yes it was. 1 ohm reactive. It will do it all day. There is a difference between 1 ohm reactive and 1 ohm nominal.
And you say 1500 watts, but he'll be lucky to see 800.
Ohms law, quite a wonder, indeed.
couldn't have said it any better

if you need to ask.... hahaha jk... it should handle it just make sure you have good electrical and a volt meter is must have when wiring under 1 ohm. if you drop below 12 volt you need to beef your electrical

i know what im doing valentines day

you shouldnt talk before knowing.. i have ran DC alts.. and there is a person i got one from that he can prove i have DC alts. im also not new to alternators.. i have swapped in and wired alts to my cars even before being a member in this forum.. the ones you have had are not the one the OP has.. i know the ones i had have ran at 15.2 and drop to 14.8 but not ecm controlled. not all alternators and vehicles are the same. also not all DMM are accurate.. i have a high end one that reads one thing and a $20 one and the readings are way off.. my high dollar one matches with the smd meter and xs power meter the cheapy one matches with none
go ahead and ask kevin from cnf who got his a DC alternator when he got 8 xs power d3100 from him.. then go ask broke audio who bought his dc power alternators
illl take this to the pm's miguiel....
i dont what to clogged up your thread op... im in hayward so hit me up if you want me to check it out , ill be sure to take my harbor freight DM, fluke RMS DM, fluke clamp, amm-1.
-
Miguel looks like you have never own a dc alt before have you? the ones ive had aren't controlled by the pcm. and neither is this one.. i did a quick google search on it check it out your self
it also looks like the op has a multi-meter to test stuff...
-
you guys dont even know what car he has or if the voltage is controlled by the ecm so how can you assume the alternator is bad.. first you trouble shoot then conclude whats wrong.. do you even know how he is getting his voltage reading? do you know if its accurate? anything above battery resting voltage is an indication the alternator is charging.. again check connections and amp gain..
"Its a 2010 nissan altima, but i have a dc power h/o alternator 320 amp..i remembered when i had the yellow top inatalled i didnt charge it so could it be that if that battery is not at its full potential that its not allowing anything more than 13.2 volts, because thats what im at on idle"

510? are you in the bayarea?
yea you probably have a loose connection somewhere or a bad alt... with your voltmeter ground your negative lead (battery, or frame of car, bare metal) and with your positive lead directly to your positive output stud in the alternator while the car is ruining and that will narrow down whats going on, then post results here..
guys i found his alt it has to charge at 14.4..

tomorrow ill get you guys a picture of where i mounted the little controller fob that control the camera functions... its in a pretty stealthy location in the center console.. wires a hidden

here are some night shoots with the LED on and some functions like parking guide lines and zoom feature at the bottom to look at the curb witch i though was pretty neat.
ps this parking spot was one of the angle ones and i parked in reverse( it makes my car look sexier )

sorry for the delay... but a month later i have pictures

Im with Broke, its most geared towards the beats pill and the other similar stuff.. and just like you said Steve its pretty small cant really expect bass from it. over all seams cool to have but not interested.
good review by the way i liked the Bluetooth distance, and the car ride, and pocket fit test, real life situation

+1 to what CleanSierra said about bandpass boxes.
As far as sizing the rear chamber goes, I pretty much agree with CleanSierra. Larger is better. Making the rear chamber larger will improve you low end performance by reducing the sealed resonance frequency and the QTC. What limits how large you can make it is mechanical power handling. As you make the rear chamber larger your cone excursion below tuning also increases. You don't want to go too far. Modeling software can help give you an idea of whats going to happen.
this is cool! i love reading Triticum Agricolam stuff... good stuff bro keep it up!

Miguel what are you smoking?... must be some good shit I want some too
learn to read.. he said 9 test buddy.. even if it does rated on all 3 test of each its at 4500 watts (per load)
hahaha relax i read it...just a joke...

looks good! i love me some Second skin Spectrum

I was under the impression you would be looking for two impedance minimums... But I'm not really sure I see it.
Out of curiosity was this done doors open or closed? Or was the box out of the vehicle altogether?
yea same here. Im just trying to find my ports tuning.. the box is inside the vehicle sealed up
i did the look at the cone test and it seams like one port is tuned around 40-43 hertz then the other one around 60 hz

bump for smart people lol... but seriously there has to be more to it ... tony? Steve? anyone

Hey guys I have also been eyeing the titan 8 for a direct swap for engine battery. looking to see if how your experience went so far?
