  2. Close enough to halloween, so BUMP the thread and bump the pumpkin too Happy (almost) Halloween guys
  3. It's weird, because I go on www.discoverychannel.com and I don't even see the words "You Have been Warned" anywhere, not even in their "News" section where you would think they would have at least announced the new show coming out! But I'm stoked for when it does come out! I'll search with my DVR each week I'm home from college!
  4. lol that, and then hope the fronts are blown and the car is all wheel drive! That would be such a fun ride until you're going to get groceries, also you couldn't have a system in there unless you strap it all down
  5. Does anyone have any input for me? I'm sorry to sound hurried, but it's because I kind of am... I'm buying a ported box for these this afternoon but I don't know if I should do a sealed box instead... help please
  6. Ok, so I bought a pair of old school Rockford Fosgate "The Punch Audiophile" 10s, they say RFA-810 8 ohm on the back... I'm looking to get a ported box used for these things tomorrow... Or do I need a sealed box for them? Although I'm interested in car audio, I don't know all there is to know about it. Advice? Pic of the Old School 10s: and a diagram I found via google, the only real info I could find on these Would like input sometime before tomorrow afternoon because it's an hour and a half trip each way to pick up this ported box for $15 Or otherwise I can get a sealed Sony box for $20 which is fairly close to me... but from experience, I think ported subs are better, although I've only worked with newer subs, never old school... what do you guys recommend?
  7. So we were at our friend's house helping them clear out their garage, and we found these. We don't know what they are, but our friend said we could have them... The one with the clear plastic says Memphis on it, and it says IN and OUT on it, the out is on the end with the yellow capacitor. There's one thick red wire and one thick black wire running into the IN end, and 2 small red wires and 2 small black wires running out of the OUT end. The one without the plastic face on it has a tag on the left red OUT wire that says LF (Left Front I'm guessing), so I'm sure they're for car audio. The yellow capacitor says "3.3J 100v MET" on it. Any guesses? And by the way, I'm not exactly new, I just registered and forgot my password for like a month Thanks guys!
