No RCA or anything is hooked up. All im giving it is power to power up the amp. Ground, Remote, and Power and the buzzing noise is coming from inside the amp. Sounds like a hair buzzer noise from inside the amp.

My friend recently gave me his Fosgate T1500-1bd not the bdcp only bd and it doesn't work. When I wire it up the lights come on and everything but the amp is making a wierd buzzing noise. Sounds almost like standing under a electic line on the street and hearing that buzzing sound but not quite as loud. Any idea on if its an easy fix or should I try to get an RA number from RF?

Ok. well you have a good point there. but alts aren't cheap too. maybe its time for an upgrade to a HO alt that puts out more than 70A.

If your alt is dead then shouldn't you be getting a engine light check up flashing? Then again you can simply take your alt to an auto shop like AutoZone and get a free alt and battery check up to be on the safe side. About your alt having to be in your car our out of it for them to check it out I think you should give them a call ahead of time before you start taking things apart. If that passes then you should get your batteries checked up because if one is bad then it will drain the good battery until both goes bad. Then you'll really be in trouble.

Just about any 8 inch is good. Mostly depends on your box build.
