that sound great. I run in the NSPL and i'm having trouble keeping up with the 2k6 so i'm looking for something that will put out about the same power.

When will the 2000d be out? And will it do 3k @ .5?

Alot of guys here are using them and most say they aren't good for everyday use. My car is my daily driver so the amp needs to be very depenible(sp). My plan is to use d1 subs so the amp only needs to be able to burp 3000 watts at .1. And have good power at 2 ohms daily. I may have to stay with my Kicker ZX1500 but just wanted something a littie bigger that could hang with the 2k6

does anyone know the fuse rating for these Hifonic amps XXV Thor mono XXV Cyclops (the 2-ch & mono) BXi 2608D (will this do 3k if brup @ .5)

I'll be competeing in NSPL and the class I want to be in says that the amp can't have more then a 200 amp draw. I want to run two Lvl 4 12's with 1500 rms

I'm looking for a amp that will do 3000 watts or better. But the can't have a fuse rating over 200 amps. Can anyone point me to a amp? I looked at Hifonics but they don't say what the fuse rating is on the site. And I don't want to you Seteson.

It can be hooked to a computer just like a term lab or you can just get the mic and hook it to a volt meter. I think thats pretty cool myself. I'm really thinking about getting this meter myself.

I think what he means is instead of 6 shitty 15 do 2 good 18's or 4 good 12's. 6-15's @ 200 each=1200. I belive you can find some good subs for that.

I'm in the same boat as you. Trying to rasie 2 kids on my own. Can't any child support or help. Its hell having to work 10 hrs and coming home and help with homework and cook dinner. Then turn around and have to clean up :mad: But all you here about is dead bet dad. You never about the dads that alone :mad: But I don't think I would let another person rasie my kids anyway

Yes!!!! I talk to dropbottommazda about getting a lvl4 with lvl5 soft parts. I GUESS I"LL GET ONE OF THESE!!!!

if i have a port 8" around 18" long. what would my port area be?

I was told that DC's aren't spl speaker but I'm thinking of using one or two in a spl setup in my car. I want to say in my class so I was thinking of using a sinlge 15" Lvl4 with Lvl5 coil. I can give it 2000 rms. or I could do 2 12" Lvl4 with Lvl5 coil but that means they will be getting 1000 rms. I need to be between 147 and 150 in my class to stay in the points hunt. The box would be a pure brup box. I was hoping some could make someone could help me out. This is my first year competeing. Would it be better to give 1 sub 2000 or 2 subs 1000 each? I know my car resonant frequency of my car is 56hz. I'm building a box now for my 15" L7 that is 2 cu ft tune to 54hz but it will be 2 weeks before i can get it metered. Do anyone have any subjections on a spl box for a Lvl 4 15?
