  1. Sould I face my subs and port to the rear or since my rear seats fold down face the subs and port to the front and seal them off from the trunk. I am looking to to build a box that is between 3.25^3 to 4.0^3 tuned to 35-38 htz. let me know what will be the best for spl. I am running two RE audio 12: se series and an XT200D.....

  2. This was on the window at 48htz I did however do a 141.4 at 39 htz but I dont have a picture to prove it.

Still impressed that its thre first vented box I have built.

Then they measured it in the vent and this blew my mind.

Remember this is only one RE Audio 10" SE Sub...

  3. I have the com 1 which is the 6 channel vereson of that amp. And a shop by my office has one (com1) for around $200.00 bucks.

This is just in the car I had a jbl gt 150 pushing the sub till I got my RE SE Sub

  4. I'm guessing the distance from my garage (inside of it) to the back room of my neighbors house is about 150'. I know thats not much but I (sorry we SCRUBBALO) we were sitting in my car in the garage and the neighbor came out yelling at us to turn it down. She was in the back I repeat back of her house in the bathroom and all she heard was BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM....

My wife tells me that she can hear me when i turn off of the main road about 250 yards away. thats 750 ft... just incase.

I will try and meassure whats the furthest I can be heard mainly because I want to know...

All I have is a RE Audio SE 10" Sub dual 2ohm in a 2cube ported box tuned to 34htz. and about 2500 watts going to it.

Since I have been working overtime and its starting to cool down getting about 80's I will be able to finish my system soon......

  5. I had chest pains about a year ago. They kept me in the hospital for 3 days and the only thing they could find was that i was working to many hours and not sleeping enough.I still have the pain once in awhile and only work 40 hours a week now .Hope everything is ok.

I hope all is well too. but she doesnt work. just stressed Family, Bills, and the fact that I am working too much.

    thanks everybody for your concerns.

  6. Right now all they are worried about is my insurance, and a person that didnt speak english having kidney stones. (those suck bad had one about 3 years ago) we have been in the halway for about 1 hr and still nonthing. damn illegals I know people get hurt, sick, etc... but i think that if you pay you should get service first. with the execption of something really bad or a child. (a common cold crap go get some advil) look at it this way. You pay for a Pizza and stand in line for 1 hour to get it and then someone who hasnt paid crap gets in front of you and gets your pizza that would piss you off.

not trying to start a rant just sux.........

  7. My wife called me and told me that her chest was hurting and I told her to call my brother since I was at work and have him take her to the hospital and see if his gf would watch our kids. They did an EKG and it came back ok so we know its not her heart. we have been here since 7.00 p.m. and we finally got to the back in they put her on a bed in the hall. (sucks.) hopefuly we dont have to stay the night....

think god family lives real close (across the street)

  8. Shoot try using one Kicker 8"sub dual 4 ohm in a box around 1.75 cubes tuned to somewhere around 38 htz. Put in a Kicker 300.1 and instant bump....

For the box use the one on re audios site.

    http://reaudio.com/speaker_box/LPort_Box_Calc.html

    Box width 25

    Height 14

    Top and bottom depth 14

    Wood thickness .75

    Port width 2

    Port length 6

    Box volume 1.725

    All number are in inches

I put mine in a 2 cubic foot box and it beat like hell on a jbl gt 150 watt amp bridged.

Then I got my RE Audio SE dual 2 ohm... and put it on my big amp (2500watts)

The kicker 300.1 will push 2 comp 12".

    Cost Kicker 300.1 $149.00

    Kicker DVC Sub $75

Wood for Box and misc $35

Wiring kit $50 get a good wiring kit it pays.

Bed liner spraied on about $75.00

    TOTAL $384.00
