  1. I'm sure you would get what you pay for with mechman and dc power, but if you're on more of a budget give Mike Singer an inquiry here http://www.singeralternators.com/

Mike was very good with customer service and kept in contact through emails and answered all my questions.

    Mike,

Thank you for your very quick response. I would suggest he get a larger battery as my thoughts would be that it would be cheaper vs. getting an alternator and having to get that installed plus doing the big 3 with the aftermarket alternator.

    Ninja,

First, I'm not Mike Singer LOL....

Second, don't cut me with your katana!!! :D

....But really, if he ever wants to upgrade, getting the h/o alt out of the way could be a good idea. It's just how he wants to spend his money.

I am sorry for calling you Mike as that was a mistake on my part as i know that you are not Mike Singer. Please accept my up most apology.

    :ninja:

Hahahaha I thought it was pretty funny :D

Anyway, OP, ninja is more experienced than I am in the audio world and is definitely correct, but I also think you should consider my 2 cents as well if you want to upgrade to more power in the future. Even six months ago, I thought I wouldn't need more than 1.5k, now......well, I think you get it....

  3. Even though you weren't trying to, you still did a vs thread.

Anyway, I've used audio technix 60 mil on my old car. It installed easy and did just fine. There was another recent sound deadening topic and I think ALPINE said it best:

deadner is like subs or amps there crappy ones there are ok ones there are better ones and then the BADASS ones

i dont like dealing with the stuff and would like to do it 1 time so i buy what i think is the badass stuff only brands i would use is dynamate extreme or SS damp pro

for real if you cant afford it wait till you can you will be way more happy

  4. i also have a batch of odd/ends wiring that i am only selling as a bundle. these pieces arent big enough to sell individually. the brand are all a mixed bag in this one, some stinger,, american bass etc $30 shipped 5 pieces of 1/0 that are between 1ft and 2ft each. some have ring terminals on both ends. 4 pieces of 4 gauge, 32" piece, 36" piece, 40" piece and 72" piece IMG_20120627_142533.jpg

30 shipped to 47586 for what's in this picture?

  5. I have 2 amps in my trunk, one's an aq1200 and the other is an old 2 channel which is 75w x 2. Currently i have just one remote wire from the trunk to the HU. Is this low enough wattage to leave as it is or should I add a relay? Sorry I'm completely new to this so this question might not make complete sense.

Start a new topic in the appropriate section and don't threadjack.....Then you should get your questions anwered.
