Cadillac John

1 Ohm. Just need it to power a BTL 18" decently, Id like to get around 2k rms. And my budget is $250.

Everything I have read is love or hate on this PA amp. Im also aware that Ill be lucky to get 2000rms at 1 ohm. But cash is tight and that amp doesnt seem like its a bad buy for the money. Id set the 3k's at a 45 angle from the notch to the bed, have them about 2" or so away. Then betwen that gap and a few inches up about the 3k's make the rack for the 4 channel. 1/4 ply for 3k's and 1/8 ply for the 4 channel. Make sense? If not Ill draw something up in paint. And I do hope youre running plexi or a cover over the amps...haha

Looking for a 18" along the lines of a HDC4, Fi, SSA..the like. Prefer local sale in Phoenix, but let me know what you have. Have a $400 cap but may be willing to spend a little more.
