  5. I'm still don't know my design anymore it basically got shot down already ha I got a basic layout or two but I just need dimensions
  6. My designs basically got shot down when i found out more stuff because I'm new to building this stuff and i want to do it right my first time...for the box DC says 3.5 cubic ft per sub and i want 4 so 14 cubic ft plus sub displacement for all of them which is .72 cubic ft and then everything else ...so i planned on a box 1.8ft x 3 ft x 3ft but i can change this (i need to fit this in and area thats 2ft x 4ft x 5 ft) tell me if you need any more info
  7. Can someone help me with a port size dimensions for 4 15 dc audio xls tuned to 33 Hz
  8. I went by what he gave me... i seem to have noticed that as well just wasnt sure... another thing i was wondering is how he figures .72 for sub displacement One I was just throwing out some #s for port I can do something else and .72 for displacement by the website which says .18cubic ft for sub displacemt so times four is .72
  9. So can someone help me with port dimensions i have made the dimensions for my box 1.7ft x 3ft x 3ft to make a box thats 15.3 cubic ft minus the sub displacement that is .72 cubic feet so I'm at 14.58 cubic ft for a sub box that needs 14cubic ft...can some on give me dimensions for a square port thats not slotted thats tuned to 33hz mostly i just need the length i have 12in x 8in x ? http://www.mobileinformationlabs.com/HowTo-1Woofer-Box-CAL%20Port%20lenth%201.htm i was using this site but I'm not sure if its taking into account of the port displacement
  10. Can someone tell me the pricing of a Xl 15" sub And also the price for the 9.0k amp? And to those who are going to say they have an email and to do that.. Yea I know they do I just don't want to wait for that
  11. Yea see I was thinking I would Have enough room no problem But people were sayig no and I didn't know why I was just tryin to get feed back on it thanks man
  12. The sub displacement for 4 is .704 ft^3 and bracings won't take off more than a cubic ft at the most plus the port volume would be .36ft^3 if I tune it to 33 Hz going 8hx10wx7.85l (inches) and its not a slotted port so putting all that together it seems like I do have enough room
  13. I have A 02 GMC Sierra 1500 ext cab and I'm Pretty set on putting 4 15s in it... Now I'm gonna take out my back seat in order to make all the room but what some people have told me Is that I don't have enough to fit the recommended 13 cubic feet but I've measured It out and it seems to me I have more than enough my question is why wouldn't it be or do you think it can fit?
  14. Thank you best answer I've had so far
  15. Ha all I'm doing is research I want to know what they are and learn about walls Im not building one any time soon look to difficult for now
  16. Yea it's an answer but not to my question
  17. Well not acting tough just pointing out a fact and no you didn't answer my question at what point did I ask if I should wall it. All I asked was what it is and so details so I can learn about it didn't say anything about me doing it. So you didn't actually answer my question
  18. And don't reply if you don't answer my question... I'm just asking what it is and want to learn about it. I didn't say anything about doing it
