You never realize how dumb some of your friends are until they tell you they used cable tv wire as their amp ground.

Are we talking about coax cables here?

Not sure, but he said it looked like 4awg but ended being closer to 12. The amp never protected either, just got really hot and melted the wire.

lol, they should have used romex. Power ground and remote all in one nice package.
